I came here to get two computers repaired. One of them had a battery issue and, understandably, required diagnostics. However, nowhere was it stated that we would have to pay for a failed diagnostic; this is not the norm, nor is it ethical. They did not maintain contact with us and did not tell us when the process was finished for computer number one (and eventually for number two, as well); we had to call them - and found out they had finished with it five days beforehand, with zero contact to us about the failed diagnosis. We later found out that there is a clause in the contract that states that if a person does not pick up their item after five days from the first call, they are charged an extra $15 per week. We were fortunate enough to retrieve computer number one before this date hit. They stated that they had called us, but there had been no messages left on the machine and no missed calls from them. The second computer had been brought in for a power port repair; it was not charging and the dc jack had to be fiddled with a lot to even get a charging connection. I told them this upon arriving there with the computers. When I received it back, one of their employees waived the $50 they had charged for the failed diagnosis on computer no. 1. I paid the $125 for computer no. 2, and took it home... Only to find out that no repairs had actually been done to it. The charging port was behaving exactly the same as before, and when I called to inquire, they stated that they had done extensive testing to make sure it had been working after the repairs. Extensive testing must not have included plugging the cord into the laptop to see if it would charge without interruptions! I brought it back and the owner of the shop was very rude and condescending. He spoke to me as if I was ignorant or stupid, and then proceeded to accuse me of stealing from them... over the discount one of his own employees gave me. He stated I heard you refused to pay; either this is very poor employee behaviour (where a discount was issued when it should not have been), or this is a highly unethical business practice - give a discount, then attempt to extort the payment. The only other explanation would be poor employee conduct; issue a discount, and then accuse the customer of walking out without paying so as to not get in trouble with the boss. He accused me of stealing from him in the middle of detailing the problems about the computer - not only was this sudden, but it was an obvious power-play move. It was followed by an unnecessary and uncomfortable staredown (after I told him that I had in fact received a discount from his employee and did not steal from him), where I was made to feel intensely uncomfortable thanks to his rudeness and aggressive posturing. When I inquired as to if the repairs would be free - seeing as he did not give me what I paid for originally - he was very shady and avoidant about giving a clear answer. He seemed to imply that if he found something else wrong with it, he would charge me for the diagnostic cost, but I could not get a definitive response from him. He did not give me any other options. Thanks to the ambiguous maybe well charge you extra, maybe we wont answers, the two failed repairs, the accusations, the lack of employee communication, and the lack of contact between Blue Dragon Computers and their customers, I would not recommend this business. In the end, I paid $125 for a failed repair job, was treated poorly, accused of stealing (yikes!) and left completely dissatisfied. You can and will find better elsewhere.

I love to support a local business, and had a fantastic experience at this location. My tower, monitor and keyboard were stolen in a break-in, and I couldnt afford a new computer set up. I met with Dale, who was patient with me as he had to explain even the most basic lingo and basic components of a computer, and my myriad options. Zero condescension, zero shaming. Got a great deal on a refurbished tower, a lovely monitor and brand new keyboard. He made sure I had all the programs I needed and all the cords. Everything about the experience was easy, warm, comfortable, not intimidating in the least.

Recently my Asus laptop was pulled off of a table by the power cord damaging the AC adapter port and a screen hinge. I was new to Salem so I relied on internet reviews to help me select a computer repair store. The courteous staff members at Blue Dragon Computers were knowledgeable, professional, and gave me a reasonable estimate. They ordered the parts, and repaired my laptop in about two weeks. I was called when my laptop was ready, paid the quoted price, and my laptop is as good as new. I recommend Blue Dragon Computers and plan to use them in the future.

Ive had several laptops repaired for the last 3 years and they usually come in under-budget.. If they can find the part cheaper elsewhere, they take a little extra time and save me money.. If Im in a hurry, it costs a little more for a rush job, but they complete it on time and as scheduled. When I dropped my laptop, I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a new one, but they said all I needed was a new screen! Yeah!!!

They have everything one could need for a PC. The other day I was looking for a USB to USB cable; I went to 4 other stores looking, but none carried them anymore. Blue Dragon not only had one in stock, but had a few options to pick from. They will be the first place I go for any PC/tech needs from now on!

They have repaired several of our laptops. One was a broken internal connector and another was a broken screen. I could have done the work myself, but these guys do a great job at a great price. They also know the tricks of the trade to do things the right way the first time. Highly recommended.
