This requires a bit of background. I have been having computer problems since I put my computer together in the first place. Also I was using a funky old HDD, but I had my OS tied to a brand new SSD and nothing had been resolved. I had numerous IT people telling me it was my Windows and just prior to bringing my computer to this business I had done a clean install of Windows. So when I arrived, I said hey Im running a brand new harddrive and a fresh windows install, I went over the issues I had been dealing with, again, in detail. So I give them my computer and say: "This PC is kind of tricky to get running, so make sure all the stuff is plugged in before you power it up." Im told the diagnosis will be done by the end of the day, after the weekend, Im told it will be $40 for a diagnosis and I agree. Additionally Im told, "You need to reinstall Windows." At the end of the day monday I get a text telling me that the individual working on my machine needs a cable with the correct wattage, my immediate reply was "Great, Ill bring one by tonight if possible. But Ive had the same problem and did you check the connections to ensure its all plugged in?" Im told the next day will be fine. So the next day I forget and text, "Hey sorry I forgot to bring the cable." I get no response. Two days later I get, "Got it running, reinstalled Windows." I reply, "Okay do you need info from me to test the applications I was having trouble with?" I get back, "Its up and running, Im done." I pick up the computer and Im charged $200, because of the windows reinstall and some adjustments to the port so that things plug in better. But its recommended that I dont pay unless Im 100% satisfied, and because of that I pay then and there because that is considerate. 20 minutes after getting it home it crashes. I text about the problem and Im told to wait until normal business hours. Im busy the next few days, and my work makes it hard to text. I know how to reinstall Windows myself, and could have done it easily. So the diagnosis was, "sounds like needs new Windows, install new windows." I paid and over the next few days I explain its still exactly the same as it was before I brought it in. Im asked for the error codes so they can look them up. Im told it must be the application, but I know it isnt and had said so prior to this. By this point, Im dejected, tired of countless conversations about error codes, depressed that I had explained on my first visit that this appeared to be a drivers issue, and I didnt feel trusting when Id been so confidently assured the problem was fixed. So then a few weeks later, I get "Hey, I never heard back and just wanted to check in." I had just gotten done completely deleting my hard drive and reinstalled Windows again and say, "I just reformatted and did a clean install." They say, "Glad to know it worked out." I didnt want to say, "It didnt work out. I meant I just did that." I didnt want to pay again and be let down again, I didnt want a recommendation to troubleshoot further on my end, I didnt want to be told "Its not turning on," after specifying that it has problems turning on. So I checked on fb if my friends had a business they liked that could help me, and someone did. They picked up my computer for me, they kept in touch the entire way through. After 4 hours they messaged me that they had trouble turning it on, but they got it to work, and the CPU was getting hot, they say they are going to update the BiOS and it wouldnt update so it was probably that, and they said they would try a couple more things. 2 hours after that they tell me the thermal gel was cracked and that they replaced it. They said things were looking better and that they would run a benchmark test overnight and if it crashed at all theyd recommend a new motherboard. But it didnt. Its fixed. For the first time ever in my tenure with this computer it is completely fixed, it had been the BiOS but they just had to install that from a USB for the motherboard to allow the update. For a 5th of the cost.

I called Eugene Computer Repair when I was in a moment of crisis - the power port on my laptop seemed to be broken. It wasnt charging when plugged into a wall. I tried multiple outlets and even multiple power cords with no luck. Over the phone, Fabio helped me troubleshoot the issue. He suggested I bring him the laptop and I might need a part which hed order quickly to get it to me within 48 hours. Im a traveling freelance web developer, so now having a computer would be devastating. He even offered to let me use the computers at his office for a day while it was bring repaired. Sure enough, I brought it to him to look at, we took the battery out and tested a couple things. Then we plugged it in and magically it was working. A piece of my power cord had some damage on it, and Fabio gave me one that he had laying around for free! Everything worked out perfectly and I couldnt let the guy go without anything, he was really nice through all of it, so I grabbed him some dinner downstairs. Thats not to say you should expect free help from him, I just got lucky! Great guy, highly recommend him.

SOOO amazing!!! He fixed my desk top and my laptop and without any extra bs. Most computer techs tell you all kinds of problems and mumbo jumbo to have you confused and paying for things you dont need even need but hes HONEST and incredibly helpful. Hes still a computer tech so he gets technical but he always explains whatever he say so I can understand it, he wants you to know and understand what hes doing so you know exactly what youre paying for and getting. I HIGHLY recommend his services!!! *~Melia~*

3-4hours diagnosis and fixing, 600 dollars, with a 90 days warranty customer service. Though, it is a little bit more than I thought it gonna charge. But what is important is that my computer is fixed. And I can continue my work. just found that I can delete the visa information myself

Our hard drive crashed on our computer. I took it to be fixed and was quoted a price to fix it which I thought was very reasonable. I picked it up the next day and am very pleased with the service I received. I will use Eugene Computer Repair in the future if need arise.

Cracked my MacBook Pro screen, and took it to Fabio at Eugene computer Repair and he fixed it the same day at a great price that The Mac store was going to charge me double for. He was awesome!
