Im not sure what any of the negative reviews are actually about. Ive been going here since my 8 year old was 2. The Staff Has been great, minus the times they have to tell people that their cheap clothes are too cheap to resell. I even saw a customer cursing at the clerk because she only received %40 of what they will sell it for. DUH!! A giant sign has all of the info for selling clothes. If you wouldnt buy it yourself, dont even try. As far as the "Donate" issue with one lady, They have never offered to anyone, that Ive seen, to donate to the Salvation Army. Theyve only asked me if I wanted to Donate the rest. If you ask, they will tell you its for the Quarter Sale at the end of each month. Just because youre to stupid, cheap, or rude to go into a store, doesnt mean the store is bad. Heres a list of items that I have purchased from there... -Pants NB - 5T boys and girls -Shirts The same -Shoes for all four of my kids twice a year -Coats -A high chair ($30 vs $130 in Target) -Matching Bouncers for my Twins -Maternity Clothes for my wife -2 full matching crib bedding sets for the twins -2 toddler beds -More than several bows, hats, socks, sheets, pajamas, and Stuffed animals. Not really sure why so many people have problems, But in my case...This Place Rocks. Theres a kids Play Area and they are totally family friendly. A++++ in my book.

I totally agree with the other post about the staff bieng not only snoody, but horribly rude, and con descending. The teenage teenie bopper, bump it abusing, sales reps act as if they are really selling top notch retail, when in all actuallity this is a childrens second hand clothing store. Are they for real. I understand that clothing should be in consignment condition for re sale, but I remember purchasing stained items from there. Why dont their standards apply both ways, aargh! As a taxpayer, who works their fingers to the bone, it is a real slap in the face when you think your going to a little mom, and pop shop, where youre not going to be treated like youre In an upscale retail establishment( prada!), only to be treated like scum. I almost felt underdressed for the occasion. I must have missed the red carpet out front. Arrgh!!!!!!!

I brought great condition clothing to this place and the "Brat" of a cashier rejected most of it saying they had to many like it and it wouldnt sale or it didnt meet their standards.. she asked me if I wanted to donate them because they take them to the salvation army.. I agreed because it would be one less trip i would have to make.. TWO WEEKS LATER.. I go to their quarter sale and ALL of the CLOTHES they "DONATED" for me where in the bins! How wrong is that?? there was no donation.. I understand when business need to make a buck to keep from being bank rupt.. but come on? LIE to your Customers and Steal from them? its just wrong.. I wont shop there again and I will take my clothes straight to the salvation army my self.. i wont get anything out of it but at least i know who is benifting from it.

I have been taking my "out-grown" daughters clothes here for the last 6 years. They have always been friendly & its been a blessing to be able to exchange my child’s clothes & being able to walk out with “new” clothes for her all in one visit. There has been times that this was the only way she was going to have clothes to fit her. So, I have always felt like this was not just a place of retail, but a place to assist the struggling as well. I have since moved to Vancouver, WA & still bring clothes to be exchanged all the way to Portland, OR. Though there always seems to be a lack of my daughter’s size clothing, I contribute this to a “baby boom” the year she was born cause I can’t find her size at any given store!

The majority of the clothes sold here are very outdated and faded. I used to go maybe once every 2 months and every time I went back, I would still see the same stuff they had the last time I was there. If you need baby gear like strollers, bassinet, bouncer, they tend to usually get some good stuff in there but their baby gear is kind of expensive. My friend brought me a highchair from here that was newer and nice but it was missing one strap and I don't think it was worth the $40 she paid for it. I would say the clothes are cheap but considering how old and worn out they are, it feels like they should almost be free. I feel this place is a waste of my time. I always leave empty handed and annoyed.

I love this place. My sisters and I are regulars at this store for exchanging and buying. Yes Ive heard back reviews about this place before (from my in-laws) but every experience Ive had with them has been great. They actually tell you if your clothing or items are stained and have the option of washing them again at home and returning to exchange them later. Ive done this twice now. Most stains will go away with a good wash or wipe down anyway. Every time I exchange something and go back the next day my items have already sold. I will continue to exchange my sons clothes and old toys and such with them.

Rude staff. If you have stuff to take in and it isnt in excellent condition then, they will throw into a no take pile and then ask you if you want to donate! Dont do it!!! Store called we love kids in milwaukie or is awesome. They do not pay cash, however, they will cut you a check for consigning. Get on their mailing list and she (Susan) will send you 90% off coupons. You will find everything other mothers has and more. Susan (the owner) will accept everything which means that you can find stuff from back in the day and new stuff. Also, toys, baby gear, maternity, feeding supplies, ect

The employees are extremely friendly, the store is clean and organized, and if you are shopping for a baby or toddler, the selection is excellent. I saw an employee steam cleaning clothing (which eases my mind in regards to bed bugs). There is a play area for kids that is equipped with a TV and toys. Above all else I felt like I got a fair price for my trade in and the items I purchased. Really the only negative is that theres very little for kids older than five and the items that they did have in stock for big kids were not the highest quality.

Love Love Love!!!!!!! Perfect prices and great condition of products. I got 5 outfits, beautiful headband, nursing cover, stylish nursing bra (big girl size) pairs of mittens of shame and socks for around $40. The business name changed so dont be confused when you get there.

great place to find quality second hand childrens and baby items, provides a consignment service for trade in items that deposits store credit onto a re-loadable gift card for future use. makes swapping up for your little ones season / size changes a breeze!

Like others have stated the staff can be extremely rude, but the owner and daughter are great. The baby gear is always pretty good and clothes are hit or miss. Its a great place to take clothes I probably would have donated in the first place.
