Great neighborhood coffee shop. Portsmouth was in desperate need of good coffee and No Wave Coffee offers a straight forward solid cup of joe along with your traditional espresso drinks and a light selection of baked goods. Chris, the owner is working the shop and is a pleasure to talk to. He also plays dope hip hop, soul, and jazz records for your listening pleasure! I would have given NoWave Coffee 5 stars if the atmosphere was better curated, but it has only been open for a week. I expect they will add some hip art to compliment the great tunes.

Courier Coffee beans (same local brand served at Powells), espressos, and pour-overs. Also a small selection of pastries. Friendly service in an airy setting with tables and couches. Ask for the coconut-hemp milk combo in your espresso drink; it was suggested to us by the owner (?) and really tasty.

Favorite Coffee shop in the neighborhood. The owner Chris makes great drinks and is super friendly. Prices are reasonable and they have really delicious pastries on hand if youre hungry. They carry Courier Coffee and its delicious;. I would recommend No Wave to anyone.

No nonsense, serious coffee shop, not charging for ambiance. Serves courrier coffee. Coffee ice cubes for the cold brew is a nice touch and evidence that they care about product integrity. Plenty of seating and complimentary wifi. Light food offerings, bagels/pastries.

Definitely not a fancy establishment. Im a big coffee person, I like it black, so I cant comment on any of the sweet drinks. This place, hands down, has the best cold brew and drip coffee in town.. Yes much better than stumptown (too acidic).
