I just bought my wedding dress from Lena Medoyeff yesterday! When I first walked in I was a bit skeptical, it didnt look like it was necessarily my style, but thankfully the sweet (and I mean like incrediblllllyyyyyy adorably sweet and helpful) staff stepped and asked me a few questions, pulled a gown I hadnt even noticed that I loved at first sight, and made me try it on. When I came out, they tied a sash on, told us all about the lace and exactly where it came from and who the lace was made by, I met the designer, they explained that these dresses are all made IN PORTLAND!!! The girls became instant friends, and almost like family. Now, I couldnt buy the very first dress, so the next day I made an appointment at a larger bridal salon where tried on 8 more dresses. Then I showed my consultant the picture of the dress I tried on at Lenas and SHE even told me that it was a phenomenal dress and that it was a steal. She said that a similar dress at their salon would have been $6,000!!! Geez! So I immediately went back to Lena Medoyeff and bought the dress. I just couldnt be any more thankful for the bridal experience I had at this boutique. They made me feel special, and beautiful, and they really listened to me. And the quality of the dress... thats a whole other thing... this dress is incredible. No corset, no tulle, it feels like a jersey maxi dress on, thats how comfortable it is. This designer understands the way that woman want to look and feel on their wedding day. GO THERE NOW IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A DRESS!!!! And use the staff!!! They will find your gown for you. No pressure whatsoever. They want you to find your dress and be happy whether it is there, or at another salon!

I was the maid of honor at my sisters wedding and she let me pick out my own dress so I went here. The experience at this store was 1000X better than any big-box store out there. The dresses are all beautiful and the staff, including Lena Medoyeff herself, were friendly and very helpful - yet they werent pushy. I ended up with a lovely dress that was a hit on the big day. While I havent worn the dress again yet (I rarely go to formal events!), I might one year for New Years or another formal event because its actually a nice dress. The dresses there are on the shorter side - my sister nixed a few I liked for that reason, but Im sure that if you wanted something longer they would be happy to arrange it if you pre-ordered it.

This weekend I walked off the street into the store explaining to the saleswoman that I was "kind of looking for a wedding dress, but not really looking for a wedding dress," since I had a decided a while ago that I wanted to wear color for my wedding. Although there were exquisite traditional wedding gowns in the store, the staff completely understood and guided me towards dresses with color. My wedding dress is electric blue in raw silk and I could not be happier! Not only are the quality of the dresses incredible, but Lena and the staff create a special environment for you to have a great shopping experience.

This was the first store I went into and the last! I found my dress after trying on only three. I love the personal attention I recieved and the beautiful dresses to choose from. What most impressed me was just last week walking back into the store to ask where they recommended I clean my dress, having gotten married a year ago, and the lady still remembered me, my dress, and the alterations I had done to my dress. I can hardly remember what I had for lunch yesterday, let alone remember details like this. I would recommend this wonderful shop to anyone!

I bought my wedding dress from Lena Medoyeff for my 2008 wedding and it was the best dress ever. Simple silk and a gorgeous silhouette. I love the simplicity, design and supporting the local economy. I was also impressed that an option for the dress is to take it back and have it dyed any color so I can wear it again. Also very affordable. My mother and sister bought dresses for the wedding from her shop across the way and they were awesome, too!

Absolutely exquisite dresses! I loved my wedding dress from Lenas. It was unique and beautiful … and best of all, comfortable! Nice people. The dresses werent my style though. Theyre all made by an Oregon designer and each dress is one of a kind. There are no two alike since shell either change the style or fabric. Nice to be in a place like that.
