This weekend I visited this bridal shop on a shopping trip up to Seattle. I visited the store around 4pm on Saturday and it was not very busy. I did not have an appointment scheduled but I was just looking so it was not a big deal. I did find a few bridesmaid dresses on the clearance rack that I wanted to try on however, and was told I would not be able to due to their appointment-only policy. I understand they want to have a store policy in place, but anyone with common sense would recognize that good customer service means bending the rules once in awhile if circumstances permit. The shop wasnt busy and I did not need any assistance to try on the bridesmaid dresses. There was two open dressing rooms and I was told by two different store associates that I would not be able to use one of them. When I questioned why, I was told that there was a bride in the area that would be using one of the fitting rooms shortly. I waited around and no one showed up. Even with one potentially being used I could have easily gone in and out of the other one within 10 minutes. My future mother-in-law and I were baffled that the employees could be so unaccommodating and risk losing our business over a silly policy that wasnt even necessary in that moment. This kind of interaction between the store associates and potential customer left a very bad taste in our mouths. We thought maybe it was the area (very hoity-toity town) but when we left we went down the street to La Belle Reve Bridal and it was a completely different situation. They welcomed us right in, allowed me to try on several dresses without an appointment (even though they are a considerably smaller shop with only two employees working and had an appointment coming in shortly after) and were very helpful to us. Ive worked in enough retail establishments to know that if you want to make a customer feel good then give them special treatment, let them know your policy but bend the rules now and then if possible. They will be gracious and leave a review raving about the above-and-beyond customer service they experienced, instead of one like this where I can guarantee I wont be going back there again, and felt the need to share this experience with others...

Hands down the worst experience with alterations ever! At first, I loved this place. The dresses that they had to choose from were all gorgeous and they had a huge selection of all different styles and colors. All the ladies were super sweet and it seemed like they actually cared how everything went but when it came down to making sure everything fit, they failed. I had gone in for a fitting just shortly after I picked up my bridesmaid dress. I had explained to the seamstress that I lost a ton of weight and I needed my dress brought in about two sizes. After complimenting me on my figure she got to work. I thought everything was great until I decided to try the dress on with the shoes, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING and noticed that the dress didnt fit like it was supposed to. The fabric was bunching in places that it shouldnt have been, the seam that ran down the side of the dress was now angled in front and what should have been a tight fitting top was now too tight at the top and super lose every where else: it was like they only had pulled in my dress 2 sizes for the loop above the zipper. When I called them crying and explained to them that the wedding was in 2 days and I needed it fixed right away, they didnt seem concerned at all. Although they did ask me to come in the next day at noon, they also mentioned that the seamstress wasnt going to be there to make sure it was perfect. Then whats the point of coming in?!! I ended up calling a little place in Everett and after one look at my dress they knew exactly what happened. The seamstress at Bellevue Bridal took so many short cuts: she only altered one side of the zipper which caused the other side to bunch, she also cut the material in the back at an angle instead of a straight line which caused the material on the sides to be lose and frumpy, not only that but she forgot to add the loops in the dress so I could put my bra through it... I called Bellevue Bridal back to let them know that I was pretty disappointed and they told me that since the seamstress is paid by cash, she technically is a different company and that there wasnt anything they could do about it. I will not be going back to this boutique.

I just bought my wedding dress over the weekend and love the entire experience. The staff at Bellevue Bridal was amazing and made me feel so special. They were very accommodating to my friends and family and made sure we all were taken care of. When it came to the dress I had an idea of what I wanted and they made sure to show me dresses they thought I would like, and even dresses that werent necessarily what I thought I had wanted. I actually ended up buying a dress, that one of the staff suggested and am so in love with my purchase. I would definitely recommend Bellevue Bridal to any of my friends and family. Buying the dress is one of the most fun parts about planning a wedding, and staff at Bellevue Bridal made sure it was a memory I would never forget. :)

I purchased my wedding dress as well as some jewelry from Bellevue Bridal. The Staff are very friendly and easy to work with and the selection of wedding dresses is great. I found a dress I loved online and it was not available in the store although they carried that designer. The Staff worked with me and the designer in order to obtain a loaner gown for me to try on. They went above and beyond in order to help me find my perfect wedding dress. The alterations process was also easy and very affordable. Some of my bridesmaids also purchased their dresses through Bellevue Bridal and received a discount because I had purchased my wedding dress through them. In addition, the new location is large and easy to get to with parking available.

After searching many bridal stores I decided to try one more store. I was extremely pleased with the service at Bellevue bridal boutique! I was welcomed very warmly. They let me look through the racks myself and see what I wanted to try on which many otter stores dont let you do. I dont think its fair for someone to assume what you like. Kara was very kind and sweet. I was looking for a dress from allure that I had seen online and tried to find it everywhere but none of the stores I went to carried it! I was very satisfied when I saw the dress ive been looking for! I bought my dream dress from my first visit! I would definitely recommend this store for any bride!

An AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I decided to visit, despite some negative reviews I had read. I am GLAD I did. I loved every minute of shopping and buying my dress, even though I hate shopping in general. Dana was awesome. I was never pressured on looking or purchasing. Juli did an amazing job giving my dress its last touches, and even added a small rose to my head piece to match the dress. For our destination wedding, I proudly carried the wedding dress bag with its log on it, hoping that everyone would see where I purchased it. This store definitely deserves the highest rating on every level. Absolutely incredible. Thank you again and again.
