I love this asian supermarket. They have tall cans of coconut water for $1.25. They have a market area with vietnamese ready made food to go, including (pardon my spelling) Banh Mi and (pardon me for not knowing the actual name of this thing but its a $2 pyramid of rice, mung bean, pork, and other awesome seasonings wrapped in banana leaf. Its a light meal portion of food for 2 bucks! They have gigantic bags of rice thats really cheap. Asian food condiments are 1/3 the price of their counterpart at Fred Meyer. They have rare fruits like jack fruit and other stuff I have no idea what it is. Oh! And wasabi peas! Big bags of em cheap. Whole aisle of ramen... Bunch of meat and unique produce generally 75% less than Freddies. *** And no review would be complete without a little constructive criticism ***. I am unsure if anything is organic, I wish everything was, so if things are I hope they start labeling as such. Last, I wish they didnt use styrofoam and plastic to package produce. Thats just wrong, too much waste. All in all I am glad to have this market in my neighborhood.

Great Asian grocery with selection of every kind of foods that every ethnic group wants, plus prepared foods such as steamed buns, fried bananas, and much much more. The fresh produce section is to die for in my opinion as they have some fruits that I have not found in any other Portland Asian grocery store and some I have not found outside of southeast Asia, including Rambutans, the beautiful red fruit that looks like a sea urchin, mangosteens, and longons. A must visit if you have a hankering for Asian Foods or miss the fruits that you had when you were there. Jackfruit is typically available, and the stinky durian can also be obtained here.

Hong Phat Food Center has improved so much since it first opened 4 years ago...The cashiers are friendly and helpful. The quality of meat, seafood, fruits, and vegetables are superb. At Lotus Kitchen, which is the store deli, there are so many new hot deli items to choose from. The juice bar now has so many fruit smoothy. I especially love the Lotus Kitchens frozen yogurt. I can rave on and on but I better let you be the judge of that. Come and see for yourself.

This supermarket is located in what can be considered the "Little Saigon" neighborhood where there are a lot of Vietnamese-run businesses. The store has freshly made baked goods, veggies, fruits, noodles, and a hundred other products. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ill be back to shop during peak time to see what freshly made food are available. On this visit I came closer to the 9pm closing time.

Hong Phat offers variety of food loved by the Vietnamese, just like myself, at a lower price point than the famously known Fubonn. One example is everyones favorite snack, Pocky. Last time I went, Fubonn sold it for fifty-cent more for a box, while Hong Phat sold the exact same box for fifty-cent less. My favorite brand of loose jasmine tea was also a bit cheaper at Hong Phat.

Not really a nice place to shop. Things are not as good as it used to. More expensive as well. Price on tag does not reflect when you go for payment. Service sucks. Nothing much good except they provides you with more asian food thats hard to get in this part of USA. Another mall a stone throw away is better. Pricing of item is comparable.

I was looking for a Oriental Super market that is comparable to Ranch 99. This is it and possibly better. Large selection of goods and groceries. They even have a deli that is constantly making fresh meals. Prices are fair, given the competition in the area. Staff is nice new go out of the way to help you.

Great Southeast Asian grocery store. Good home made kim chi, lots of produce. Dont expect to find too many Chinese or Japanese products, though there are a few like mirin and some awesome candies. No hot mustard for instance. Thai "RedBull" type drinks for cheap. Decent deli.

The store is generally OK, cheap and a variety of selections. However, at the Deli do not get the spring roll there. I had the spring rolls last week and the letuce (too much of it) was bitter, like they didnt wash it at all. I felt sick and threw away the other two.

Access to all Asian groceries. Good produce section. Has a hot food area with Banh mi, boba tea, premade food in to go boxes, etc. Can be hectic with the aisles close together and lots of items throughout the store. Typical Asian market but its large and great variety.

Amazing selection of Asian food products, rare and hard to find produce and even regular produce at fantastically low prices. Was so stoked to find a place I could buy galangal and kafir lime leaves for homemade tom ka!

Rude people and employees as well. Avoid it if you can if theres a zero i will put it. But i will settle for this bad place. Im asian so im notbeing treated like i should be because im not foreign enough to them.

This is a great resource for Asian and domestic ingredients; huge store, amazing produce and seafood selection, prepared foods, beverages, and cookware. A definite go-to for rice. All reasonably priced.

Love the selection, but it would be nice if the cashiers acknowledged your existence. The deli staff is very friendly but one of the cashiers has no people skills and never responds to me/ looks at me

Not really decorative or any warm good feeling and the people there have no clue how to speak English which that really sucks but if you know what youre looking for theres plenty of goodies there

Good, fresh Asian groceries at affordable prices! My wife is from China, and she can find her favorite meats, vegetables and fruits there, as well as rice, noodles, sauces and canned goods.

Difficult to get the essentials that we would have gotten at Safeway there previously, but if youre looking for Asian groceries then seems like a great place.
