Safeway was the worst I have ever seen it this Saturday. The lines were way back into the aisles. I have never seen it this bad in the 20 years that Ive lived here in Sonoma. There was only three Checkers on a Saturday afternoon. There was also about 10 jars of salsa that were broken in the middle of the aisle and people were having to walk around it, it was a hazardous area. The management at Safeway in Sonoma really needs to start looking at customer service instead of trying to save money on having less Checkers there to serve people. I will not be shopping there again. Also the checkers are inadequate. Slow to respond and do not very friendly.

I am mostly happy with my experiences shopping here. I use Disabled parking and can usually find a space. The people in produce are great and most of the checkers are great, although there are a lot of new ones. I do find that its hard to find some kinds of produce and the dairy department is often missing many items. But my BIGGEST complaint is all of the top shelves are WAY too high. And I especially have trouble at the dairy case. I try to call for help but mostly no one is in the back or they cannot hear me. I have left the store so many times w/o buying things just because I cannot reach them.

graveyard service is almost non existent..there are no checkers to be found easily...the people are friendly, nice wine, alcohol and beer selection and good lunch sandwiches...the frogs in the field that croak all night, makes my evening..

Its a smaller safeway with limited product selection. It is decent for a quick bite at the deli or general food shopping. If you are looking for something specific, it will be hit or miss. They have great cookies here!

24 hour shopping. Deli counter has great chicken. Hard to get serviced however. Sometime the wait is really long. They need to use their pull ticket system to make receiving of service equitable.

Very clean and well organized. Beautiful produce department. Nice selection of hot and cold prepared foods. Large bakery area. Great bottled beer selection. Great selection of wines and cheeses.

Lately, it seems like they always need ONE MORE CASHIER. Ive waited 30 minutes to get through the checkout line. Thats far too long. Store is clean and full. Employees are friendly and helpful.
