Although the store seems very nice and has a great selection I will never be going back. Most of the staff seems friendly enough, although two in particular are the reason for why I wont go back. A few months ago, this crazy lady with a very shrill and annoying voice seemed too overwhelmed and frantic for there being only two customers in the store. She charged me too much for my Scotch and then (although very nervously) continued to argue with me as to why I was wrong. I just ended up leaving without another word. The owner (who has a very phallic looking physique) is much worse. He seems to undermine his employees when they do a good job and is strangely rude to customers, sometimes even ignoring customers all together. It seems to me that if he wants peoples business he would try to be friendlier.

One might be surprised that there are differences between Oregon Liquor stores given the governance by the state. One visit to the Lake Grove liquor store will change your impression. One remarkable difference is the staff. Very customer-centric and knowledgeable. Exceptional service & they will provide great insights into the different brands. If you dont see it on the shelf, they will research & try to bring it in. The store is beautiful & very well organized. This is the best Oregon store in the system! Jon S

Very friendly and helpful. Clean, well lit, and not trashy like other liquor stores. If you dont know something about a liquor or some brand, you dont feel weird asking because they dont give weird looks like a other places. They have a great selection, but not a lot on the lower end. They seem to specialize more in the mid to high end, BUT they do have a decent low end selection. They do have a larger selection of scotch than most places Ive been.
