Sometimes Im in the mood to flirt with the local desperate housewives and debutantes of Eugene, and Oakway Center is the focal point of the entitled womens shopping universe. Typically, Ill play the role of bad boy who is curiously fashionable, and Ill use suggestive language and naughty facial expressions until they build a fantasy in their heads that Im a gentleman in the streets but a gangster in the sheets. Perhaps theyll buy me a pair of shoes, a new North Face jacket, or a bite to eat, at which point Ill inform them that I live by 2PACs code of "M.O.B." and skedaddle on my way, leaving them aroused but ultimately disappointed.

The Oakway Center is a mixed bag in my book-- billed as somewhat of an upscale galleria-type area (but with atypical anchor stores including Nordstrom Rack, Pier One, Bed Bath & Beyond and Trader Joes to name a few). There is a nice mix of restaurants, local businesses and big chains-- I could care little about the big chains. The restaurants range from average to very good in my opinion, but the environment is very nice and there are a few places you cannot find anywhere else. Because of this, Oakway Center itself only gets 3 stars-- but does contain many 5 star businesses in this reviewers opinion.

Great spot for the family to shop. It has Cafe Yum, a Eugene chain of healthy food and yummy chocolate dipped cookies; Trader Joes; Nordstrom Rack; Chicos; Pegasus Pizza (great lunch special slice and salad and drink $8); Pier 1; Bed Bath and Beyond and Talbotts. The Talbotts literally gives clothes away in their fall sale in Eugene. Nordstrom Rack and TJ Maxx across the street are nice to browse. Are you on Coburg Rd? Why not look for that Sees Candy across the street? Head in there and they let you test drive one chocolate, but not your choice, theirs!

The only Yuppy zone of Eugene. Clean and beautiful with large oak trees in the courtyard. Great restaurants like Sabai, Johnny Oceans, good sushi restaurant, and an ice cream store. Plus theres a Trader Joes flanking the north east edge. Wednesday night music. Overall a great place to take the family without having to worry about your kids getting hepatitis or having to swat away vagrants who need propane or spare change.

Having lived in Eugene for 20 years, I saw the evolution of this property from a small "enclosed strip mall" to an upscale outdoor (mostly) mall. It has a nice selection of stores and restaurants and offers a good community feel. The location is ideal. I would give it five stars if the parking was better. Most middays its inadequate and frustrating.

Great little collection of shops that typically smell of a backyard BBQ. My wife and I like to go for walks around to window browse, and enjoy the hearty atmosphere and cute ambience. Only downside, is a lot of parents tend to let there kids run around unchecked, which can prove to be both annoying, and sometimes entertaining.

Beautiful shopping area. Went to Burchs Shoes for athletic shoes for my teenage son who has very wide feet. Burchs carries a large variety of mens and womens shoes for all sizes. We usually see Chris when we go there because he is helpful, knowledgeable and fun.

Quick stop to Cafe Yumm to get something to eat. Very hard trying to find a parking place because of all of the construction right now. There is a parking garage going up. I had to park so far away and this is why I am giving it a two star.

Oakway Center is a strange strip mall in that it has pulled in some of the bigger corporate stores. However, they usually seem to change quite frequently, but they do usually have a very clean and pleasant shopping experience.

Its great you can get your hair and nails done then continue the pampering with a facial or lash extensions etc and then choose from the many restaurants from Thai to sushi. Thats just a little of what is available there.

This shopping center has really morphed into a modern themed shopping experience. I love the new selection of storefronts. There is a wide variety of spendier and cheaper stores for every type of shopper.

Your website is horrible and out-of-date. There is no map of where businesses are located, there is no way to contact you..... too bad, because your Center is beautiful and deserves a nice website.

An upper-end shopping center with some great name brand stores; Trader Joes, Old Navy, Nordstrom, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Pier One. Decent food options, but restaurants tend to be a little pricey.

Great outdoor summertime atmosphere. I go with grandkids to enjoy ice cream and all the toppings we individually like at Dickie Yos. Lots of restaurants, but more for adults, including prices.

Awesome food and the hospitality is one of a kind! We are visitors from California in search of something spectaular to eat. We stubled upon Pastini and it was definitely worth our while.

I love the shoppes, but the culture surrounding this shopping center is anything but laid back which is a no go for me. I look for a relaxed environment to enjoy my shopping experience.

Oakway has a great selection of boutique shops and good food. It is also right on a major bus route for people who do not want to fight the terrible Coburg Road traffic.

An upscale mall is still a mall. I only ever go to TJs there, but the crazily laid out parking lot is full of entitled people in big expensive cars, which I avoid.

Lots of great shops and restaurants - Trader Joes, Old Navy, Sushi Mio, Chapalas, Sabai, etc. In the summer, they have live music on the lawn every Wednesday evening.

Always good prices at Nordstrom Rack. Thai food, frozen yogurt and sushi are around the corner and of course Trader Joes down the way. Always a good place to stop.

Awesome shops, great food, occasional live music, activities for little kids sometimes - and Chapalas is there, hello?! Anywhere that Chapalas goes, I go too!

Oakway Center is a delightful shopping experience for me. There are many stores that have merchandise I like, including food store and restaurants.

Stores are great. Traffic in parking lots is terrible. I avoid this area around the holidays - insane traffic. And they keep on adding more ?

Fantastic shops and places to eat. A far cry from twenty five years ago. The major problem is their parking situation, sometimes difficult.

Beautifully maintained, high end outdoor shops. The landscaping is awesome and the atmosphere positive and warm. Great spot for a date!

Besides the parking lot being a disaster, its a nice place to go shopping! Try to avoid Id during the holidays if at all possible.

So friendly and great restaurants! They have bands that play in a beautiful courtyard. Such a fun place to shop and dine.
