Definitely the best of the two malls in Salem. First of all, it has a Nordstrom, which has the best products and service one can expect, it is very small, but they still have a decent selection of high-end gods, which is better than anywhere else in Salem. The girls at the womens fragrance counter ate really outstanding in their helpfulness, though every employee Ive ever dealt with there is happy to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy! Next, I love the e cigarette shop, Elite Vapors. The manager Brian and owner Jacob really take pride in their customer service, plus make the best juice Ive tried. I shop here exclusively for all things vape related. They have replace faulty batteries for me, just because Im a loyal customer. That is the kind of service that keeps me returning! There is a three floor Macys here, and Ive found some great clothing there. The clearance racks airways have some great stuff on it! Also, Macys Almay l almost always has a great sale going on, which I love. There are many other nice stores: Buckle, Shoe Mill and a recently remodeled Victorias Secret, to name a few. I go here just about weekly and am so glad that Salem has this bright shining spot of class in a town that is often void of the nicer things.

Well, its way better than Lancaster Mall! Im still astounded that they only stay open until 8pm though...even on the weekends! I think that stinks & it gives very little opportunity for those of us that live in the small surrounding towns of Salem.... Its our closest option for ANY mall, and its almost impossible to ever get there if you work closing shifts... Especially when you have to deal with the horrid West Salem 4-6pm traffic. Almost makes it not worthwhile! They used to be open till 10 or 11pm.... What happened?

Great place to shop. It has a variey of different stores to shop at with middle of the road prices. Theres just 2 drawbacks that I can see. One is that its easy to get turned around in because it covers several different city blocks & has sky bridges, upper and lower levels and alot of doors to the outside. The other drawback is that its hard to find a parking spot close to the store you want to shop. They have 2 big parking structures I know of but anywhere else is street parking.

Depends on when you go like what time of day or what day of the week because the crowd changes depending early in the mornings theres a lot of Mall Walkers and older people that kind of just get in the way after school gets out theres a lot of kids just being obnoxious taking up space for not buying anything the selection of stores is getting better to some degree parking is still a pain unless you want to walk a minimum of about 6 blocks but oh well

Salem Center has never had that "mall" feeling. Some empty stalls and general lack of foot traffics leaves much to be desired in terms of atmosphere. The big name stores, Macys, Kohls, Nordstroms and JCPenneys all fulfill the need for name brand items. However, the food court is isolated and there is no central area for one to relax. I go to the mall when I need to, but otherwise dont spend much time here.

Very good choice of major stores as well as upper end specialty retail operations. Add a food court offering oriental, pizza, sandwiches, burger selections, close by covered parking, convenient hours, interesting local Salem attractions, restaurant row on nearby streets, and nearby Macys, JC Penney, Nordstrom, Ross, and the Salem Center is a great place place to visit and shop year round.

Very disappointed in their accommodations for the disabled. You have to go a side door in the middle of the alley. Then on top of that the driveway and sidewalk are so horribly bumpy...Not a disabled persons dream. They have a league too for the disabled, rather crappy to make them use this entrance. Spend the money and make ADA entrance. For stuff.

I go to Nordstroms at times ➕ theres an Excellent E-cig store there called *Elite* Theyre the Best in Salem! Bryan is very knowledgeable about everything & takes the time to help you find what youre looking for. They make their own Juices~ plus you can earn FREE juices by buying there! Cant go wrong @ Elite.

Great stores, but the owners of this mall are squeezing the downtown area for every penny. Really damaging our wonderful downtown area, and forcing smaller boutiques out of the area. Dont blame the stores for the high prices, blame the owners of the building. They are massive a$$#4!$.

I love the self massaging chair. 15 minutes for $5 massage from head to feet. When you help people with transfering them or house keeping all day as well as grocery shopping. 15 for $5 compared to 30 min. For $45- $60 when your on a budget Also love the food choice so close together

Great parking all around and convenient access to the stores. Escalator, stairs and elevator available to go up and down stairs. We have been to Sees Candy, JCPenneys, Kohls, Torrids, Baskin Robins, Hallmark and Kitten-Kabootle. All good friendly service and will be back again.

This mall is over run by retail clothing stores. The only fun thing s there are Spencers, Hot topic, game stop, and the food court. Everything else is just clothes. Roths, JCPennie, Hollister, American eagle, blah blah blah. Though there is a good ice cream place.

This place is usually busy and there are lots of stores to choose from, even if a lot of their stores are a bit rude. The Spencers, hot topic and other body jewelry outlets seem to constantly compete in pricing which is good. The vape shop isnt that great.

Law abiding citizen carrying a gun to protect others? Better ban him from the mall forever even after he left when we was asked to by a security gaurd. My name is right there^ I will go back if I damn well please, try and stop me.

This mall kind of felt like a copy of Washington Square Mall, but really quiet. A lot of the food court places were closed and there was almost nobody in the halls here. The restroom was fairly clean and the parking is convenient.

I like the mall for the most part, especially Hot Topic. The security is terrible, just a bunch of teenagers who jumped to conclusions. My friend and I were falsely accused of shoplifting and were banned for the rest of the day.

It has JCP and a Macys. What more could you ask for? OK it has a lot more clothing stores than anything else but it does contain a nice food court and is generally clean. Theres lots of parking and is generally not crowded.

Not many great stores. No big name brand stores. Nothing much going on here. It did receive a store called Buckle which is a bit higher ended and stylish. Would be nice to see longer hours. Does have two parking garages.
