My first time there. We only went to The Cheesecake Factory, but it was AWESOME!!!! When you walk in its like walking into a Grand Hotel. When you look left, theres a HUGE case filled with cheesecakes. I think, 89 different flavors. The layout and decor are beautiful. The light fixtures are beautiful, I think, blown glass. We started with a drink at the bar. The bar keeps were friendly. And my very dry Martini with 3 olives was perfect. When we were headed to our table we noticed that the seating is very open and theres enough space to walk through comfortably. The food was VERY well prepared and oh so tasty. Our server, Derek, was FABULOUS!!! He recommended items for me and was happy to tell me why. I got everything that he suggested and was very pleased. The BEST DARN TATER TOTS Ive ever had! Its upscale so I didnt understand why they were on the menu until I got them. Theyre not typical tots. They make them with a garlic flavored mash potato. CRISPY on the outside and creamy, smooth on the inside. I think that was my FAVORITE part of the meal. If/when you go, PLEASE ask for Derek. Hes such a nice young man. Really knows the food/menu and is happy to cater to you. I so please with him that I asked to speak with the manager, Eddie. He, also, was just a neat person. Was so kind and happy to have the feedback. Go. And ask for Derek!

I give it a 4 while in angst at rating something I really dont like. But it isnt their fault... its malls in general. I hate their invention and the resulting demand for me to suck it up even a couple times a year to fake a smile and do my duty in hitting the mall with a significant other. I can stand the mall environment for about 10 minutes before I quickly start to devolve into an angry Neanderthal. I hate what malls bring out in me. Its not like Im mad at their existence... if people want to build gaudy, fake sanctuaries with high priced shopping of items that are usually moderate quality... than crowd billions in at once at their craziest... more power to them. Just not for me. BUT... if you have to do malls, Washington Square is the areas best by far. Clean, laid out nicely, located well, wide selection, and good parking and public transportation.

This mall has the only LEGO Store in the Portland area. Thats the best reason to stop here. It a very nice mall. Lately they have upscaled it a bit. Sadly, I dont usually find much reason to go anywhere other than the area between JC Penny and Macys. Thats where the LEGO Store, Hot Topic, and GameStop are and I can also stop for pretzels. I never go anywhere else here. The mall is lacking shops Im used to finding. There is no board game or comic store, book store, knife store, Disney store, toy store... There is an Apple Store, which is nice for repairs and classes. Besides LEGO, visit for the clothes mostly. The childrens play area is in front of JC Penny but not good for kids much over 5 and can be crowded. You CAN text chat the mall concierge. Thats is a nice feature.

Not what it was 15-20 years ago, and thats a shame. They didnt need to "upscale" this mall, it needed to stay true to the community its in. They alienated their community by catering to those upper clientele. They only good things here are all in one little hall of the mall between JC Penny and Macys: The Lego store, Crazy 8, Gymboree, and the video game store, Build a Bear, JC Penny, Vans, Hot Topic. By JC Penny there is a kids play place that can be fun, but is usually crowded. The remainder of the mall is a huge disappointment including the food court. This mall just keeps disappointing me. More businesses have left the mall since my original review and rumor has it that its because of high rent for the space.

Went for dinner at 5:00. Had a 1 hour wait. I ordered 1/2 shrimp scampi and 1/2 chicken madeira. The chicken breast was 1/4 inch thick and breaded to make it appear thicker. The shrimp scampi was breaded, burnt and served without the angel hair pasta that was supposed to accompany it. Asked the waiter to send the shrimp back, so he scraped that side of the dish off my plate to take to the kitchen. Finally came back as we were getting ready to leave (total dinner service took 1.5 hours). It was in a to-go box. Got home and discovered there were 3 sautéed shrimp in the box. No pasta. Really poor food for the price ($112 for dinner for 3 with dessert).

Indoor mall which is big, but not too big. Theres easy access to business from numerous entrances and tons of parking. I try to avoid parking outside the Summit food court area and the West side of the mall. Those lots seem to get crowded. Plus: The largest Nordstrom in Oregon sits here. Across the freeway theres 3+ multi-block strip malls with Nordstrom Rack, Ross, Guitar Center, Franz Bakery Outlet, Staples, and many more stores. Minus: Having to deflect salesmen from the kiosks. They sure are good at what they do (persuasion), its just that I dont want what they sell (expensive beauty products).

Dont bother with this Mall. If you are poor you will be dogged and followed by employees for just looking at inventory. If you go to an interview managers will complain about you not having office shoes...even though you cant afford them. People in this mall are completely out of touch with how poverty effects others. If something happens and you call the owner of the mall...he will refuse to talk with you. I had two men run into me at full speed in this Mall--breaking my arm!! I called the owner and he refused to talk with me about it! Caters to the rich, while ignoring the poor. Spend your money elsewhere.

Okay, mini soapbox moment: there are too many stores with intense perfume smells. I happen to be mildly sensitive to cologne and string perfumes, and I literally get nauseated and headachey from passing through hallways. However, there are quite a few stores in this mall and they keep it filled (not a lot of vacancies unlike many other malls that havent done well since online shopping became a thing). Its clean, there are places for kids to play, and there are some good place to eat in and near the mall. Watch out for holiday traffic though - expect to add 30 min - 1 hour of travel time

評四星是因為東西確實多,應該算俄勒岡比較大的Mall了,前兩條評論居然是中文…I rate four stars because here is the one of the biggest malls in Oregon. And lots of stuff here. I am surprised that first two reviews were written by Chinese... Lol
