Coddingtown Mall used to be the only mall in Santa Rosa. After the Downtown Mall was built, and after the economic recession, businesses in and around Coddingtown have been in decline. Stores dont often stay open more than a few months. Coddingtown is home to Whole Foods, Target, Macys, Gamestop, and most recently Nordstrom Rack has opened its doors there. Although the food court options have become limited in the wake of the recession, if youre willing to brave the mediocre service of BJs or the overpriced options at Whole Foods, its not hard to grab a bite during a multi-hour shopping trundle on the weekends.

The best part of this mall is what is outward facing. There is an incredible Whole Foods and some decent new restaurants that have gone in. Theyre also adding in a Nordstrom Rack, which will help provide a fresh anchor store. The inside of this mall, however, is disappointing. Its dark and dated, which is hugely disappointing, considering that Santa Rosa has beautiful weather year round and lacks decent places for people to hang out and socialize. 4 stars for outward facing part of the mall. 2 stars for inside. Im desperately hoping this mall will get a makeover before I return to live in this area again.

With the Target, Whole Foods, and newer opening stores, Coddingtown has become a great place to shop. Additionally, it has a great kids play area that is perfect to visit between store visits so that your toddler can get some of that crazy energy out. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is the hours. The mall closes too early on the weekends, especially on Sundays. Sometimes when it is getting later, the mall closes before the stores and so you are stuck walking outside all the way around the mall to get back to your car.

This tired mall is an example of why malls are closing all over America. Cavernous spaces with no interesting stores... except for the excellent Whole Foods which anchors one end. (WHY did they open their second Santa Rosa store HERE of all places?) Do we need one more cheap schmatte? This place would be better turned into housing. Or maybe a prison or hospital. At least then it would have people inside. What a depressing place.

Shop the convenient way.. at Coddingtown. The radio ad said so and we did. Coddingtown was a new and elegant addition to Santa Rosa with great shops. Our family loved Ricks restaurant and Thrifty for ice cream. Smiths for men and boys clothes. JC Penney and the big E (Emporium, now Macys) department stores. Much has changed over the years including becoming an enclosed mall with Target. A nice place to shop with a great history.

Great place to get your mall necessities, jcp clothes, target and payless shoe store are the ones we frequent most. Great to take the kids to on super rainy days (or hot days), they have an indoor play structure for toddlers and young kids in between whole foods and subway. You have to take your kids to the jcp potty which is a bit of a walk if you have a kid in potty training. Also a library across the parkinglot nearby.

A typical medium size north American mall with the usual JCP, Sears and Target. My family loves playing in the kids zone while one of us shop at Whole Foods. We get lunch at either subway or Whole Foods as there is no food court. There are multiple good sit down restaurants too. The parking lot is huge with approximately six EV charge stations. Ali in all its an easy shopping experience.

Many shops under construction. But the worst was...at the kiddie area I couldnt find a restroom quick enough. On map sign for restrooms nowhere shown. No sign looking around. Numberlocked restrooms in Whole foods, Family restroom closed in JCPenney. (Someone said for a suspicious long time). Finally on the other side of store... too late for my kid. Very unpleasant experience at the play area.

Overall this is great shopping mall. They have a wide selection of stores as well as many wonderful restaurants. I LOVE that they have a Target and Whole Foods directly connected to the mall area. The only downfall is that the information booth is rarely open and parking can be difficult, although there is construction going on in the lots so Im hoping they are expanding. :)

Coddingtown used to be "the" mall to shop at ( my family has lived here for generations). I am noticing that it is starting to become this once again. They have added Nordstroms Rack, Target ,Wholefoods and some pretty good places to eat recently, so I am happy to see our beloved Coddingtown coming back to life. They still have Macys and Jcpenny .

Im going to give this mall 4 stars because its a really clean place and they have a ton of stores. But its a typical mall so its very expensive. But you can get some good deals if you look. They also have a pretty big food court with some tasty vittles. Generally I would just give it three stars though because its a mall and Im not real

Wow.. the Macys here hasnt been updated since I was in high school. So like 20 years? Seriously. Its entirely different from the flagship store in Walnut Creek. They had a selection of clothes more for petites though. Some okay deals. Its a Macys but this one needs a facelift badly. I swear I saw my gum on the carpet from 1991.

Came here to eat at BJs restaurant. My experience at the restaurant was top notch. As for the mall in general, parking is rough on the North side, especially with the little carnival they had going. I know the carnival wants exposure, but it would be better placed in the expansive West parking lot, which always seems close to empty.

New remodel but same paradoxical disorienting sensation. It seems like every other store front is closed, and you very a very clear picture of just why this place is hanging on at all when you see the whole foods and target on the north west side. Its hard to will myself to spend any money here no matter how I try.

Coddingtown is a pretty nice place. Good food options, a Target, two Starbucks and a Whole Foods. Macys and JCPenney as always, plus now a Nordstrom Rack (which I havent been to since it opened, but I did install the big roll down door at the receiving bay). I get all my New Era hats at All-American Sports Fan.

Really like what they have turned this ancient mall into! Whole foods, Target, awesomeness!!! and a whole bunch of other good stores! aso this place supports small business by mixing in the small business with main stream stores. overall who ever designed the new model for the old mall did well!

Where you go for mass produced crap from asia, chain restaurants with frozen food to serve, and people with the wherewithal to have the air of entitlement because they got dressed up to go out to eat a another packed place run by the local high school teens. Its just a mall people.

The best mall or shopping area in Santa Rosa for sure. It has lower to middle range stores as well as a few unique additions such as nordstroms rack and a whole foods. There is a target for general shopping and plenty of hair and nails options. Very good for general shopping needs.
