Jiffy has gone under new management and renovation. What an upgrade! I will miss the laid back atmosphere of the Market and the excellent food from before. Everything is .25 to .50 times more expensive than a year ago, which is where most of these positive reviews originate. However, cost is not an issue for quality. I miss how friendly everyone used to be and how the market was a great place to hang out and relax and I am wary of these newbies. It seems as though there is a lot of seats now and it is difficult to move about the place. Kind of a maze of sorts. The renovations are beautiful. As long as the market can keep their employees for a long time and ensure that they are warm, friendly, and pay attention to what needs to be done they have the potential of being the best place in Eugene. Jiffy has a reputation for being a resiliant and critical part of what makes Eugene, OR cool. I hope to be casting my vote for EugeneWeekly soon for Jiffy! If their lattes are better than Vero or as good as Brails we may have a winner!!! Lets find out. :)

The original Jiffy Market, an actual market with deli, was a South Eugene staple for over 25 years. More than just a convenience store, they had one of the best wine selections in town, a cheap but expansive deli menu, rotating food specials, good beer on tap, and a nice outdoor patio for smokers. Then the owners sold it and it was revamped... but not for the better. The wine selection is 1/10th what it used the be, the market is gone, the patio is now enclosed, and the deli has a very small menu of overpriced pub fare. I tried it once, was unimpressed, so went back again to give them a second chance and was turned away because of some private party (during normal business hours). Sorry. Never going back. The new owners in only a few months ruined 25 years of a good thing. Congrats.

Next door to Spin City Laundramat. The laundramat has free wifi while you wash, but I prefer the wine tasting at the Jiffy Market Wine & Deli. It is amazing what a selection they have for the size of the place, and all are very reasonably priced. They offer free tastings of an eclectic range of (anywhere from 4-8 each) reds and whites. They feature a fairly complete selection of Oregon wineries augmented with yummy selections from all the major regions of the world. Have a glass and an sandwich on the deck or just taste. Like the rest of Eugene, this place is unpretentious but has the good stuff. Glad I found this place!

Jiffy it is not. Its not kid friendly and the prices are too high no. Breakfast sandwich took way too long and looked like a piece of art. With little taste and no condiments available, I was very disappointed. Why cant they offer a basic bacon, eggs and spuds...and the standard quasi egg muffin breakfast? They lost a huge clientele when they killed breakfast. Alas, the old neighboorhook market exists no longer in SE Eugene. Compared to the original, the new place absolutely has a hoity toity feel.

Jiffy has really stepped it up with the renovation, and I enjoy the atmosphere and in/outdoor patio they added. The food is above average and Oregon wine and beer speak for themselves. A great place to hang out while doing work or laundry. I docked a star, however, because their hours are spotty. I once went there at 8 after putting a load of laundry in and they had locked the doors even though their stated hours of operation are until 10. It truly was a bummer.

Ive been going here for 14 years and it ha always been a great place. The place was sold in December 2015 and reopened under new ownership in the Spring of 2016.The new owners really jazzed up the place and made it fantastic in every way. Everything is new and modern. Atmosphere , food, service , wine/beer selection are top notch. The non smoking patio is a big plus for me and my family. Thanks Jiffy

Nope. Tried it twice after the new owners took over. Blah. Old jiffy had character and a neighborhood feel. New jiffy blows-overpriced-unfriendly - feels like I went to Panera . I do like the windows . It amazes me how people can take something good and turn it into crap all the while thinking they did a good job.

Their posted hours are not accurate. They close whenever, not 10:00. No way to know if theyll actually be open unless you call first. I assume the food is fine, but when it says 10 and I show up at 815 and get turned away, not so thrilled... thats not the way to build your late night clientele...

The original burger was delicious. I have been to Slaters when they first opened and remember the burgers being bigger, especially at $10-$15 each! The fries were a little salty, but the bacon ketchup was delish! Would come back for the $15.99 special - burger, fries (not many), and beer combo.

Great updated local hangout. Excellent place for a pint, coffee, breakfast, or pastry. New outdoor seating area is nice. Needs some better covered bike parking but at least there are a couple racks snugged up against the wall (losing some capacity but making them somewhat covered)

The Jiffy Market is whats up! They have one of the best selections of wine in town, a friendly staff, and really good food. You can drink your beer there, and hang out on the porch and have a smoke. Its great. Defiantly the hang out spot.

Great food, great people, great selection. I found this place by accident, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Great portions, great prices, and a very large menu for a deli. Great local wines and beers, too!

Under new ownership, it is unaffordable for families. Jiffy makes me feel unwelcome in my neighborhood. Such a disappointment, rude service. Will not be coming back.
