No one does it better than Steve Baker of Authentica Wines. Excellent long-term source for all sorts of wines from the rarest to the most common. Steve is long on intelligence and memory. He is very well connected in the wine community throughout the US. He is trusted and respected by his peers. Although Steve could be a wine snob, he is not. His love of wine is pure and without pretense. Best of all he loves to share his knowledge. He isnt afraid of letting his customers in on some his years of research and experience. Great source for some awesome champagnes. He also knows some great places on fly fishing streams...

Steve Baker and his partners have assembled a great selection of local and not so local wines. They seem to specialize in wines from small, selective productions that are competively priced and of excellent quality and value. I particularly appreciate the care theyve taken to offer a really wonderful selection of wines under $15 alongside the higher price Oregon Pinots and other more premium priced wines. I appreciate going into Authentica where I receive consistently helpful recommendations for personal wine selections, as well as gifts for clients, family and friends. Highly recommended.

Authentica is a great shop for discovering new and interesting wines. The owner, Steve, curates a worthy collection of wines at varying price points. Its the kind of place you go for new experiences rather than looking for something particular.

very limited selection and he doesnt stand behind wines that are oxidized or corked, even when very expensive you will do better elsewhere in town like Bos on 40th or Sundance 24th & Hilyard
