Great Fred Meyer store, has much of what you need in one store. The employees are friendly and very helpful always someone nearby to help you. They offer help when they walk by and all employees always greet you . The reason for only four stars is not based on service - the parking is better than most Fred Meyer stores (like Roseburg) but does still need some improvements on flow. Also it is the only Fresh Grocery store in Brookings (only other option is groceryoutlet with questionable/small amount veggies $ meat, the only place you can get fresh meats and veggies and so is VERY BUSY much of the time. It takes much longer to to shopping than just 15 min as google states just due to the amount of people in store and trying to get through isles. Like the store and staff....

Had to find some cold weather clothing because we had come up from California and forgot our heavy jackets. We were headed to Target (after already trying Walmart with no luck) but decided to stop at Fred Meyers instead. Much to our surprise, they had an excellent selection of cold weather clothing (Walmart had already changed to Summer Season!) and found the lines available to be of good quality. The lady that helped us was also very friendly and even suggested we visit Snoqualmie Water Fall which was a few miles away from where we were staying and we were treated to an amazing view! Great customer service, clean store, good selection. I wish Fred Meyer had made it into California as I think I would go there more often!

It is very crowded at Fred Meyer during peak tourist season (July). Thank goodness for the little carts you can use when not stocking up. The employees are the absolute best. Very helpful. The selection is always good. The prices not so much. There is a Starbucks inside. There is a recycling station outside and near it is the station to recharge your electric car. Of course it is totally wheelchair accessible with an elevator going to the second floor where the clothing is located. The parking lot is not so good either. The aisles are too narrow and Ive had almost fender benders several times, especially with the big trucks/SUVs. Handy gas station. Remember in Oregon we are not allowed to pump our own gas.

I actually like the store and it is very large. But the lines were ridiculous and the bathrooms are a joke. For that many people there are only 2 stalls and I had to wait 15 minutes before using the restroom! The checkouts have lines, the bathrooms do too, and people dont move they are always in your way when you are trying to get to a certain food or drink or leave the store. Overall its ok but dont expect an in and out shopping trip or to be able to use the bathroom here any time soon.

We are traveling with our RV and got into Brookings late and wanted a place to crash for the night. We called customer service at Fred Meyer and they gladly said we could park overnight. To thank them, we went inside and bought all our groceries as well as a coffee grinder. This place has everything you need and the employees are so helpful and found a coupon for our coffee grinder. Thanks for your help and we cant wait to keep shopping here while in town!

We ordered sandwich, meat and chocolate strawberry trays for our wedding. The food was great and super easy for our small wedding. The ladies at the deli were awesome! They were very sweet and contentious about everything going well and looking great for our wedding. They even came out to make sure that everything would be OK in the truck for the ride to the wedding location.

I dont hate it, entirely. There is no other place to go. Unless i want to travel, Freds is the only game in town. I feel thier prices, customer servuce, qualty and variety of goods reflects this. also, being that they are successsful at keeping this proprietary status, i feel like the corporation should be much more beneficual to the community in general.

We often get the best deals at Fred Meyer. The coupons and various promotions are always changing so watch the local newspaper. The clearance section in clothes often has tremendous deals, and we dont always score, but there have been a number of times where we come out of there with bags and bags of new clothes. Enough to fill the trunk of the car.

Mentioned an icecream carton sitting in deli island with the humas, to nearest person working. From behind the counter she asks if i can find someone that works in "this" department. FAIL... 3 fold:training, comunication &resposibility.. there are more points to adress, but those stood out to me.

Fred Meyer in Utah was bought out by Smiths when I lived in that state. It was great to see the chain still going strong in Oregon under its original name. There is more variety here than in any Walmart, more categories and more items for each category. It is many stores in one.

Great selection, great prices, and fabulous service! I couldnt find 2 grill grates, and a worker asked if they could help. She called back to the stock room, and when they couldnt find it, she took my number and said they would call. I wish we had this store where I live!

Huge grocery area. Large. Big. Has everything you could need. We bought food for 5 for a week if camping camping. Then on the way home back to California we found Oregon Ducks apparel upstairs. Cashiers both times were very friendly and efficient. Emphasis on friendly.

Worst customer service & rude minimum wage clerks acting like managers, also California produce goes through Portland & is stale, then oversprayed with water & rots within a day, Bi-Mart has friendlier clerks & Walmart in Crescent City better selection & deals.

I had the worse shopping experience of my life here and was disrespected by the management. They broke my gas cap, sold me moldy jerky, jars they told me the knew leaked, and never apologized for any of it till I complained about the rudeness of the staff.

Its a nice, clean, usually well stocked store. Most of the employees are decent. Some can be a bit snooty at times. They have a desert case I call the sin case. Its to die for! They seem to raise the prices on some things to cover the no tax thing.

Annoying advertisements over the speaker systems as well as very annoying music they dont have a very good health food selection and what they have is very overpriced they are taking advantage of no competitors we need a Trader Joes

Good customer service. Very updated. Wish they would get the urine smell out of the mens bathroom. Thats the reason for 4 stars. Other then that, great place to shop and they even have a place to watch your kids while you shop.

Good clean Fred Meyer that helped us get some specific supplies while on a road trip. We found a specific kind of sugar free candy here. It was a little disorganized but we found what we needed and the checkout was pretty quick!
