Ethan Allen really came through for me…..especially my designer, Dawn Batdorf. Dawn worked hard to help me with my plan. It is wonderful to be able to choose from so many fabrics and styles. I compared the final room price with other retailers, and Ethan Allen was about the same, which surprised me considering the greater quality. Dawn worked hard to help me with my place. I have an “ill-placed” fireplace and could not figure out a plan. Dawn made a plan, and after asking me about my taste, made up an entire room full of a sofa, leather recliners, and another upholstered chair. This along with the fantastic ming Media Cabinet….Wow! Dawn is friendly and helpful…but never pushy. Dawn gave me numerous ideas, choices and reasons, but in the end the plan she put together was perfect and I bought the entire family room choices she suggested. Also I purchased the dining table set from her as well. I received delivery 2 weeks ago, and wow….and my house, she “took it up a notch”. I love everything and actually feel like I saved money because everything is perfect, the first time….and I am not going to need to spend money later for a better this or that! I was so happy that I have also already ordered a bedroom set with Dawn’s help as well. Thank you so much!

Seems that every time we go shopping for furniture, we end up returning to the Ethan Allen store, as this is the only place where you can find elegant, high quality, American-made furniture. We love all our Ethan Allen furniture pieces, even those that we bought many years ago. In our recent shopping experience we especially liked the attention and design advice provided by Ethan Allen design consultant, Dawn Batdorf. She held our hand throughout the entire searching and shopping process and, thanks to her guidance, we purchased a dresser that wowed all our friends, including my very discriminating mother. Really nice folk, decent furniture and a price tag to set you off your lunch. I used to sell furniture and understand the difference between good quality and bad quality. My problem is they dont give you any of that here. I could see the quality of the furniture, but they dont sell it well. Plus I think the price is about 30% more than they should charge. But hey, we live in Bethany. We must be rich, right?
