ME (customer): "Hi. Do you sell any of those writable cards for the Nintendo DSi?" HER (clerk): "NO SIR! THAT WOULD BE CALLED SOFTWARE PIRACY WHICH IS ILLEGAL! YOULL HAVE TO BUY THOSE FROM THE INTERNET!" She had to say this as loudly and obnoxiously as possible, so that every customer in the store could turn and think that I am a software pirate. Nevermind that writable cards have many legitimate uses. Nevermind that I like to write my own homebrew games for the DS, as well as run other free homebrew games that people create themselves and put up for download on the net. Nevermind that writable cards can be used to do things that are not normally possible with a DS, such as playing your entire mp3 collection, watching movies/TV shows and storing photographs. Nevermind that other used games stores such as Slackers have no problem selling these cards. Nevermind that last month a French court ruled that using these cards was not illegal since they add legitimate functionality to the DS that is otherwise not available. No, Game Stop clerk, just forget all that and yell at me in front of my kids and all the customers in the store. Its okay, I dont mind.

Most Gamestop locations are actually quite helpful and up-to-date on current video game selections, and this location is no different. However, I have personally had some problems with the supervisor of this store, which is why I write this review. Her name is Sareena, and if youre not careful with what she does shell try to cheat you out of some money in order to make her store an extra buck. This has happened to me on two separate occasions, so if you have to deal with her, pay close attention to what shes doing because shes a fast-talker and does her own thing without telling you whats going on. If you can, I go to the Corvallis Gamestop or the Gamestop in the mall on Lancaster. I find those to be the most helpful stores in the area.

I went online to check and see if Gamestop had World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Collectors Edition. It said they carried it so i went into the store. Once i got their i was promtley greated and asked if i could be helped, I asked if they had any World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Collectors Edition that i could pre order? the Lady told me no they arnt going to make a physical copy of it i laughed and said "RIGHT" guess ill be getting mine from some other store

Really great people who work VERY hard are at this store. Theyre also humans that sometimes make mistakes (its strange I know). They try hard to let you make an informed and smart decision when buying things, and Ive become very great friends with some of the employees over the past few years.

Im not sure if its just new employees, Or the cases only writing reviews while youre angry for the other reviews. The sales staff was very helpful with me. they very quickly helped me sort out an issue with a pre order online and got me a physical copy with codes.

Ive been in several times looking for specific games. I feel ignored when I go in... Middle aged woman just isnt the demographic. But, I can usually find what Im after. Watch the pieces though.... Used is often more than new if you shop online.

Tired of being told I need an adapter for something when I was just in the store 30 mins ago. You could have told me when I was checking out and I would have purchased it than. -frustrating
