My first trip there, I brought with me the DS game Scribblenaughts. :/ They game me four dollars (9 store credits) for it. I bought Mario Paint SNES for 3.99, but they neglected to tell me I needed to buy add-ons to have the game work. They gave me a full refund after I argued with them a little bit with the aid of my friend (On my second trip). My second trip I brought my Game Boy Advanced, a Game Boy Advanced Game "Incredibles + Finding Nemo". It was a two in one game. I also brought along a Wii game called "Game Party 3." They gave me 9 store credits for Game Party, 18 store credits for my Game Boy console (HIGHWAY ROBBERY!) and 5 store credits for the two in one game. I ended up only selling them the Game Boy game and Wii Game. T.T I have to say I am impressed that they have the classic NES, SNES, and N64 games, but all the good games (Sega, nintendo, etc) were very pricey. But they had some really good deals, like SNESs Yoshis Island for only 27 dollars! But their refund policy is TERRIBLE. If the game does not work COMPLETELY, you get full money back. If there is a small problem, you get half money back. If you just simply dont like it, too bad. I got super lucky with my Mario Paint game. I cant believe how strict they are with that. The game selection is so-so. I mean, they have lots of NES, SNES, N64 games, but the nintendo DS and Wii game selection are rock bottom. If you want a nice classic game selection, I recommend you go there, but if you want something modern, I think Game Stop would be much more fitting. The staff there are unfriendly and somewhat ignorant. If you are standing in line they will start chatting with their pals, ignoring you! I had to go "Ahem!" to get the mans attention. :/ Its not the best place to go. Its small, doesnt have the best service, and the game selection is not too good, but you cant find classic games just anywhere.

Only a one-time visitor, but the store was your basic console retail business. I am impressed with the stores stock of vintage games and gaming accessories (NES/etc), but its nothing you cant find at any Game Star or other game cookie-cutter clone-chain. I was disappointed with the locations apparent lack of Magic: The Gathering singles. One would think that with the HUGE window displays of M:TG artwork/branding that they would have more to offer than your basic booster packs and card sleeves. The stores customer service met your basic standards: greeted, asked if I needed assistance, wished a good day upon exit. I say its definitely worth a stop if consoles are your thing.

The place smelled terrible, ridiculously high prices for games you can get elsewhere for less than 5 dollars. When I picked a game out and they were looking for the disc the girl handled all the games horribly before just dropping them back into the drawer. They couldnt find the disc for mine because they neglected to look at the case when they purchased it with the wrong disc. Wasted stop.

worst gamestar. horrible service. be ready to pay $10 more for a used game they claim is new. low ball offers for games you bring in just to turn around and sell for 4× what they gave you. treat you like youre dumb. love all other gamestars. Tigard is great go there not that far from newberg.

High prices on games ($20 for $5 all day game on ebay), high prices to buy MTG outside the pack (10 commons for $1), and really strong smell (like something from a retirement home). They are however nice-ish, and have slightly lower cost on new packs than places like Fred Meyer.

Great place to buy and sell old games. They have a verity of sealed Magic product but not much in the way of sealed. I whent for Friday night magic with my little brother and had a great time. The man at the register was vary helpful.
