Buyer beware! US Cellular boast a new concept, no contracts on phones and they will even "throw in" a FREE or ONE PENNY tablet. Sounds good, right? Well the phone may not have a contract, but your brand new, deal of a lifetime will come with a 2 year contract. Oh and did I mention a 350.00 early termination fee. We have been with this company for 15 years, we have never been bamboozled the way this location did. Even when the sales rep offered the tablet, we told her we didnt need it, her response "but its free, regift it to someone ". We had no idea, it was never explained to us that not only is there a monthly fee, but an activation fee, I found out when I received my bill. We never received a paper copy of the contract, as the store manager ask for today. We left believing what we had been told, it was free. We feel that this is US Cellulars way of continuing contracts, they just come at you with a new misleading way. As a consumer, I feel Ive not only been intentionally misled, but taken advantage of.
