We were contacted by Fallon who I believe was the manager. I explained I was just looking around because I knew with my credit I would only be offered brand new cars with high payments. She told me that they would be able to get me in to a CPO vehicle. Which is the ONLY reason I made the 45 minute drive on my one day off to the dealership. I arrived at around 11:45 am, I did not leave until after 6pm about 6 hours in that building because we did leave to go eat lunch. When we arrived we were approached Zack Smith. First of all. He was the BEST thing about this entire experience. My wife and I felt he handled himself professionally the entire time and never once made us feel uncomfortable or pressured. That being said the slope down hill begins. The finance person that was dealing with us, I dont remember his name he was a little bit bigger guy, was not so nice. He put the pressure on nearly immidiatley. He handed out a pleasantry or two but other than that it was all talk. Once we were finally able to look at vehicles they brought a used 2013 sportage out and we test drove it. It was very nice actually, however we did ask about a new vehicle because we wanted to find out what the payments would be on both vehicles and weight our option since the 2013 has about 42,000 miles on it. After we spent more and more time with back and forth questions about what was important to us, my wife wanted to inquire about the Soul. Zack went and told this finance person and he came back in and excitedly told us that the soul and optima had many rebates that could be used to help me with being upside down in my trade in. And brought them around for us to look at. By the way Fallon did check on us once after we were there maybe 20 minutes but after that had no contact with us even after we ended up purchasing a vehicle...... anyway, we looked at the soul and optima then it was back in to the office with us. I got on the phone and was speaking with my insurance provider to try and get estimates on insurance for the possible new vehicle when. The finance person came in and told us that we could not have the used car. And the payment on the new would be about the same for all models around 520 this was the first time the whole time we heard a number. We told him we wanted to go to lunch and think about it, he wouldnt let us go at first asking what we could do to sign right now, I said pay our tag and tax he said he would do half, then said if he did all of it would we sign now. I told him again we wanted to go to lunch. He finally let us take the vehicle to lunch and upon our return told us he would not pay the tag and tax but that he could do something to get the payment to 489, I told him I wasnt sure because first I was told I could get a used and I couldnt, then that they would pay tax and then couldnt... after a minute of discussion my wife and I decided 489 was better that previous offers we had received and that perhaps it was just time to bite the bullet. We agreed to purchase the Soul. We waited a while longer before being pulled to the back and signing with that person who was pretty polite actually. Then when we received our "delivery" it was very casual, informative, and said to leave good reviews, I said I would be honest that I dont lie. When we finally got the keys Zack put on the temp tag and offered to take us to detail where they were closed by this time but he found someone to remove the sale sticker from my window. The detail person was kind as well. So in closing. I feel I was promised some things and was left wanting. I am happy with my Soul however ofcourse I was it was the upgraded model but hey maybe next time. Zack was wonderful and these people would be foolish to find him anything other than a great asset to the company had it not been for him I 100% would not have even stayed long enough to purchase a vehicle at this location.

I did NOT have a great experience. I bought a KIA elsewhere that was still under factory warranty. The first time I took it into the dealership to talk to them about my sunroof not wanting to shut fully I was greeted by being asked why I was at KIA if I bought my car elsewhere . This was supposed to be some kind of joke but it was not funny and I was already in tears because my really nice new (bought less than 30 days earlier) car was having an issue. They let me know the service department was closed but were able to force my sunroof shut then giving me a card to call service and set up an appointment. When I went in for my service appointment to have the track in the sunroof cleaned ( they did this under warranty) I was presented with an estimate for almost 1600$ worth of work they said needed to be done. I explained I had just purchased the car and surely there couldnt be this many things that need to be serviced. They stuck to their story and sent me with a written quote for the things they said were specifically wrong with my KIA on top of the normal maintenance for my car at 60,000 he also made sure to let me know several times if I didnt keep up with maintenance that it "would be hell to get KIA to cover anything under warranty" . I left and drove over to the dealership I bought the car from they greeted me with smiling faces and they were more than happy to hand over a print out with all the work they did to my KIA before they sold it to me. Several of the things they had taken care of were on the quote from KIA of things that needed to be taken care of. Im sure KIA has successfully talked people into having work done that is unnecessary I cant say anything about the sales staff because I did not deal with them but the service dept was a huge disappointment and I am beyond happy that I do not have to go back. You definitely lost my business and when people ask me I will be honest about my negative experience.

Buyers beware. This place is the worst dealership I have ever been to. They are completely unprofessional. We have spent a week trying get them to call us back after being told we were approved for a new car. Chad told us our trade was worth 7000. Chris told us he would give us 4500 which is a complete insult. Aaron asked us what we wanted and we told him everything we wanted and said dont waste our time if you cant give us what we want. He then brought us a car that was not what we wanted. We told them its not what we want and if you cant give us what we want then we will find it elsewhere later on. They sent me home in the car for the night. Chris assured us we were approved for the terms that we wanted. The next day we told them its not for us and we want our keys to our trade in. Thats when the general manager Brent Sullivan told us he couldnt locate them to come back the next day to get them. And for us to have fun in the new car. We stated that we didnt want to drive it home. He assured us that he would call us by 11 today after numerous phone calls that Brent dodged this afternoon. The finance manager then called us telling us a completely different story about the terms and was very rude to my husband. I will never buy anything from midtown Kia and I will never go back to get my Kia serviced by them again. I will tell everyone we talk to that they should not ever go to midtown Kia and tell them our experience. This place is a joke. Customer service sucks an midtown Kia. The staff is untrustworthy! They are rude when you are not satisfied with their customer service efforts. If you can call that customer service. If I could review this with less than one star I would.
