I went in and told the employee I was looking for an external power supply/heavy-duty charger for my Asus RoG laptop, since the included charger had shredded. The woman excitedly told me that they had a new external power supply that actually had two fans on it. Great, that sounds awesome! I should have opened it and looked at it there, I totally admit. That was my bad. In my defense, she sounded like the absolutely knew what she was talking about. I got it home, opened it up and...its an internal power supply for a desktop. I took it back the next day and was relieved when she didnt appear to be there. I told a different employee what happened and he chuckled and said, "Yeah...no, this is definitely an internal component and it would never fit in a laptop." While he was processing my return, the woman who sold it to me came out of the back and got all defensive about why I was returning it. She snootily said, "I thought you knew what you were buying." Well, sweetie, I thought you knew what you were selling me. Im a woman, and I am very PRO females in tech and gaming fields. Stuff like this doesnt help.

This store is run horribly. I stood in the store for over 15 minute while the salesperson helped two men set up a radio. I left the store and came back and the same thing was going on. Once there was about 5 more people in the store the salesperson called to the back of the store for more help. He couldnt have done that earlier? Then, the second salesperson acted like it was such an inconvenience to help me with questions I had about a product. I had no idea how this product worked and I kept getting attitude from him like I was bothering him for asking questions. I will never give this store my money and management needs to do something about how the sales people are running the store.

Ive been going to the Radio Shack on Main St in Norman, OK for years. I used to get really good service but since Sprint took over its gone down hill. The Radio Shack side has a woman thats friendly but shes loud enough to hear outside and she ignores customers at times. I have had trouble with the Sprint employees the last two times Ive upgraded my phone. Gemmy is friendly but hes arrogant and makes frequent mistakes and then refuses to own it. He blames it on the cell phone or Virgin Mobile. I dont have issues with Virgin Mobile when I call their 800 number though. If I didnt have to go there, I wouldnt. Used to love Radio Shack and recommended it to everyone, now I dont.

I go to this store regularly. They are understaffed at times, but they give their attention to their customers. Theyve been my best source for help with my cell phone, when my carrier (A Terrible Telephone company) has wasted my time, been unable to assist. RadioShack, especially this store in Norman, has never failed me. Ive had to wait for attention sometimes, but Ive always gotten great service. I will never waste my time with A Terrible Telephone company again if I can get to a RadioShack, and especially to this one.

Purchased a power converter for $65 it lasted for 6 weeks. I used it 3 times & started making an extremely loud high pitched sound. Tried to take it back & exchange it for another one. They said, "Sorry, no receipt or over 30 days. We cant do anything for you." I can now see why they filed bankruptcy. This is the last time I will purchase anything at a RadioShack again.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and prices are fairly reasonable, although one time I had to fork over over 20 bucks for an aux cord. However, the selection is great and they will always help you get what you need!
