I take the art of tattooing very seriously. I spent many months researching and reading up on some of the absolute best tattoo artist in the Mid-West. T.C. Perkins came up on a number of my searches. I didnt want to just jump right into anything, so I took some time and started to followed him on social media. Watching the work he produced and the unbelievable art, talent, and skill that was created at Gaia Tattoo Studios. I knew I had found what I had been looking for. A true artist that takes the art of tattooing to a whole new level. When I first walked through the doors @ Gaia Tattoo Studios I felt like I was in a high end establishment unlike anything Ive seen in person or even on TV for that matter. Not your run of the mill typical tattoo shops. Everything was spotless clean, the decor was something you would expect to find in a top of the line furniture store. The staff was very educated and friendly. They took the time to listene to my ideas and transformed that into a beautiful work of Art that Im proud to wear. I cant walk down the street without someone stopping me and compliment on my sleeve and of course ask where I had it done at. Anyone can go get a tattoo anywhere, but if your looking for an all around experience with top notch artist that will leave you without words, this is where youll find yourself getting not just a tattoo, but a meaningful work of Art.

Where do I begin ... After some pretty bad experiences with other artist in the past I wasnt sure that I wanted any more tattoos ever again . Then my father passed away , who just happen to be my best friend, and I was devastated to say the least . Being an artist myself, the only thing I could think to do was have a piece of my skin designated to a memorial of him , something that would always be with me until the day I died. After some research I found T.C Perkins . I went in and met him , gave him a couple things In particular that had to be incorporated and then gave him the freedom to come up with a piece that would blow me away. He did exactly that ! I look at my arm every single day and it brings tears to my eyes. Im not sure that he realized the type of healing that something like this brings to a broken heart. I will never be able to look at my dad, face to face, ever again ... but I will always have this ink on my arm to carry with me and that brings me a little piece of closure . He was extremely professional but not cold , he made me feel super comfortable , his work is impecible and he gets things done in a timely manner! Which is key when getting a large piece! Kudos to him and much respect for the amazing talent of this man and his crew at Gaia! -Danielle Simpson

My wife had an appointment to get a tattoo at this place. The day of her appointment (about 3.5 hrs before) she received a text message from the artist saying he was sick and would have to reschedule. My wife tried to see when he would be available again but he never responded to her texts. As if this isnt unprofessional enough, my wife found a video on the artist social media page the following week of him streaming a live video tattooing a costumer the same night/ timeframe of her original appointment. My wife is extremely disappointed in how she was treated. Not only were they unprofessional in getting her rescheduled, but the obviously lied about why they were unable to do her tattoo. I would not recommending dealing with this type of business. From what Ive heard from others, cancelling and being late to appointments in fairly normal for this place which is sad because their prices are actually higher than a lot of other shops.

Fieat off, the studio looks amazing! Most clean, well organized, bad ass tattoo studio Ive ever seen. Second off, T.C is an amazing artist. Its rare you see an artist who cares more about the art, then the money.. Ive been following a lot of other artists, for quite some time now, and aits evident that all they care about is money.. With art, it has to be about more than just the profit.. T.C is just the opposite! With every tattoo he does, he is fully invested..Gives it 110% everytime to make sure every one of his clients walk away beyond satisfied. He cares about his clients, art, and laying a perfect tattoo everytime more than anyting else. Anytime anyone asks about where to go for tattoos, I mention Gaia tattoo, and tell them about T.C. I keep photos of his saved to show people.. and they are amazed. I cant wait to get back in T.C, keep up the great work man.. Ill be seeing you soon bro.

I watched T.c work for a while before going to him. I went for my consultation for a huge cover up that NO ONE would or I thought could even begin to cover and was also told this by several artist. Pretty much everyone In Cincinnati and Kentucky said I would have to get laser surgery to get it lightened. Then I walked into T.c. Shop he agreed it would be a task but he could do it. Talk about relief I felt 100 times better. Day of appointment I went in T.c. Started right away on drawing up my tattoo. About5-6 hours later I had a beautiful side piece that goes under my arm to my ankle. Not only is he an AMAZING artist, but very professional down to earth. I wont go to any one else for work again!!! T.c. At Gaia Tattoo is the BEST around... Love his work you want Tattoo or piercing this is the spot Gaia tattoo is the place!

This shop is incredible. The tattoo artists are amazing. Ive had T.c. Perkins tattoo me multiple times and I couldnt be happier. My experience was beyond what I could have imagined. The place is clean, beautiful and the employees are the best. Ask T.c Perkins and Kartoon to let their imaginations run wild and you will have a one of a kind tattoo piece that no other shop could do. You get what you pay for, and I would pay more then what they charge knowing the quality you will get. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Gaia is the best tat shop in the U.S. Ill be going back real soon. Best of the best.

Appointment was set, paid the deposit, showed up early, waited half an hour after scheduled appointment time, no call, no show from the artist. They kept telling us he was just down the street. Tired of waiting we requested the deposit money back, the guy behind the counter got miffed about it. Not even an apology for the trouble or care to try and reschedule or have someone else step in. Maybe they dont need the business?

TC Perkins and the gang at GAIA are brilliant artists. Given half the chance, they can create a masterpiece that is not only unique to just you, but absolutely stunning! I love the idea that not one other person on this earth will have the exact same tattoo as me because I chose to let TC be creative. His work is truly masterpiece. Kartoons penmanship of letters is on point! GAIA tattoo studio is where its at!
