Me and my BFF came to Atlanta for a few days and decided to get tattoos at the last minute but we werent sure if we could find a shop open on a Sunday night. I googled tattoo shops in downtown ATL and most of them were closed so I started calling the ones that were listed as open. I got a disconnected number on the first one, a wrong number on the second one, and then got Iron Palm on the third one (they say 3rd times a charm!). They were super friendly on the phone and thought it was later at night than it was but were willing to stay open a few minutes later if we wanted to come. So we headed to them. We got there and everyone was welcoming and friendly, we had a good time chatting and laughing with everyone. We felt right at home the moment we stepped in the door. We had a basic idea of what we wanted but took a few to sit and finalize our idea, the guys were helpful and patient while we wrapped it up. We picked our design, Damien drew it up and we loved it and were ready to get inked! Damien did mine and Pudge did hers. They were super awesome to work with and they did an AMAZING job, we were both incredibly happy with our tats, they were everything! If were back in the ATL and want more tats, guess where well be! Thanks so much guys, weve gotten compliments on our tats every since, theyre beautiful and perfect!

One of my friends went to Iron Palm Tattoos and had a great experience not to mention her tattoo was awesome and very detail oriented so I decided to try them out after having had some bad experience with some of the popular local tattoo businesses in Atlanta. I call a day before and explained what I wanted done and the artirst Marlon was very professional and helpful over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by a nice young lady and she introduced me to Marlon in person. Before, during and after my tattoos were done, he was very attentive and even gave some of the best advice a tattoo artist have ever given me. Mind you I have 14 tattoos so that is 14 times i had to go to a tatto shop and since Ive been to Iron Palm tattoos I havent gone anywhere else and Marlon have done 3 of those 14 tats. Can you tell that I love my new tattoo shop and I strongly advised anyone who want a tattoo and want to be treated right to contact Iron Palm Tattoos now before going anywhere else.

I have been getting tattoos by the artist J.R since he was at a shop on the south side, when he relocated I decided to follow him to his current shop at "iron Palm tattoos" I got a leg piece done last night and I must say my tattoo experience was the best Ive had out of any shop Ive ever went to, they are very respectful courteous and professional, as I got towards the end of my tattoo I began to get aggitated however the fellas were very patient with me the gentleman by the name of marlon did whatever he could to make me comfortable so that I didnt quit on my tattoo, he sat down next to me and talked to me and calmed me down, gave me a hand to squeeze, if it wasnt for him I probably wouldve tapped out last night.. Everyone is awesome I would def be back to see them and most def wouldnt send anybody anywhere else other than to the infamous "IRON PALM TATTOOS" thank you fellas for your wonderful hospitality and patients you guys are "AWSOME "in the words of marlon

I came here to get my nipples pierced last weekend and the service was really great but both piercing came out slightly crooked. I noticed the day after and I went to my local piercer to check if I was just being paranoid and she agreed that one was too shallow on one end and the other had gone through part of my areola. Im probably going to take them out at this point and get them repierced which is something I didnt want to do because Ive wasted money and Ill have to go through the pain of getting them redone. **Update: I originally gave this shop a 1 star after my initial experience. After getting a quick response from management and how they were able to work with my situation I have changed it to 4 stars. Their great customer service and how overall their team of employees are, will be the reason I will come back in the future.

I went to Iron Palm for my nose piercing. This was my first one and I wanted to get it right. I read the online reviews and was sure I was making the right choice. Iron Palm did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The piercing itself was virtually painless and super quick! I didnt even realize he had already completed the piercing until he told me he would be putting the ring in. I love it! The ring is the perfect size and I was glad to see that piercings are performed with a needle as opposed to a gun. Also the pricing was really affordable. My sister who was with me to document the experience even inquired about the tattoo services. Well be back!!!

Cool shop, cool party vibe, however if you are getting a big peace of work done, DO NOT PAY ALL UPFONT. I paid upfront for my partial sleeve 1/23/17, it still is not finished! I have reached out several times trying to get it finished, but the artist does not answer or is either not available. At this shop "no other artists can finish another artist work." So I gave up on trying to reach my artist, to get finished. They do not do follow-ups or callbacks like some shops, so if you need to get a peace finished... good luck with reaching your artist, that is the only hassle.My partial sleeve is still not completed from this place, and I will probably be getting finished somewhere else.Thanks!

Great location in the heart of the city with a relaxed yet professional environment where you can be comfortable getting tattooed and know that what you get done will be top notch! Staffed with a friendly and highly skilled group of artists, Iron Palm is a great example of what the Atlanta arts community is about. Not only do they have great tattoo artists, but they are frequently putting on art shows and events promoting local artists, engaging with the creative community surrounding them and creating amazing experiences for all types of artists to interact with each other as well as the public!

This is the first review I ever took the time to write bc my tattoo I got from here sucked. Maybe I came on his bad night but JR did both me and my friends tattoo and both of us hate it and plan on covering them. The line work is TERRIBLE it looks like he couldnt keep a steady hand. The colors are faded. And while he was doing my tattoo after he did my friends he looked at the needle gun and fixed something on it and said "thats why youre acting funny" so something was wrong with his gun and instead of fixing it he did both our tattoos and kept quiet. Really not cool, a tattoo is permanent and he just wasnt up to par
