I wish I liked Bloody Marys more (or at all) because then I would like Market more. To be fair, Ive only been once, & I usually try to reserve judgment or online review until Ive been more than once, but this place rubbed me the wrong way right off the bat. My boyfriend & I went in on a Sunday, expecting a bit of a wait, but when we got in, we found that nearly every table was empty, except for a few. Absolutely no one was waiting - & yet we were told that it would be "at least 30 minutes." For whom? Reservations that hadnt come in yet? A whole restaurant full of them? The hostesses seemed bored & snooty, & they looked notably surprised when we said we wanted to put our name in anyway. We walked over to the bar for drinks in the meantime, which was packed with people who had presumably made the same decision. We did find two seats together, & we decided we may as well just eat at the bar, where at least the bartender was friendly & kind, unlike his coworkers at the host stand. The food was good, & there was a lot of it. I was slightly disappointed by the "waffle sliders," which I imagined to be, like... sliders. Instead, it was basically an omelet made with waffle halves instead of egg - one big waffle sandwich that, or a waffle taco. I had to eat it with a fork because it was incredibly messy, but it was also incredibly delicious, so I give it a pass. I think it was a little bit misrepresented on the menu, though. The boyfriend got the breakfast burger, which he devoured, & we split their fries, which were A+. Beer & mimosas to drink. The bill was a little bit more expensive than I normally would like to spend for Sunday brunch, especially seated at a bar, but the food was decent & the company, at least was good - and, OK, so was the bartender, who was working his tail off to serve all the people who somehow couldnt get tables in an empty restaurant. Id probably go back, but Id be sure to make reservations.

I have been here many times (my work people like this place for the patio) but the bad outweighs the good IMO. The food is pretty good, and their happy hour is a great deal as well. I have the same complaint as a few other reviewers about reservations. They are super unaccommodating when it comes to this, and I have no idea why. I tried to make a reservation for 12 for my husbands birthday and they literally said they couldnt give me an answer until they saw how many "other" reservations they "were going to get" for Saturday. She forced me to take a 4pm (I really wanted 6 or 7pm) reservation and told us "wed have to keep it to 2.5 hours". They sat us at an awkward mis-matched set of tables in the back corner of the indoor patio. The entire time we were there, the place was empty. When we left at 6:30, it was only half full. And, just to throw this in... they wouldnt allow my sleeping 3.5 pound lap dog on the patio. I cannot fathom why outdoor restaurants would ever not allow well-behaved dogs. Again, the cons outweigh the pros... Go to Deagans in Lakewood for better food and service.

Very Bad Service !!! It will turn a pleasent afternoon upside down. My wife and I waited 15 min in our table until I had to flag down someone to come and wait on us. This is the third time we returned to this restaurant trying to give it a second chance, however the service is terrible. Each time we had to wait over 15 min in order to order our drinks and they were out of multiple items on their menu. The food menu doesnt have that many options to begin with. In our last encounter we left the restaurant without ordering anything, very upset and dissatisfied. The management has been flagged about this issue and yet no action is taken.

Seven of us went for Sunday brunch. First, seating was very crowded, had to ask for a chair. Slow service. Out of the seven different selections, two were extremely small. Two vegetable dishes had minimal veggies, small pieces, difficult to tell if the listed items were even in there. One was mostly potatoes. The omelette had no flavor. One diner had to ask for the advertised amount of meat. Three selections were good, as were the beverages including alcohol. Nice decor, noisy, saw flies near bloody the Mary bar. Could be a nice option but wouldnt return.

I would love to give Market 5 stars - I really would. The management is fantastic, but unfortunately, that doesnt trickle down enough. The food and service is inconsistent. At its best, its a great place, but unfortunately, more often than not, the service or the food is lacking - occasionally both simultaneously. Good drink selection and free valet parking are great, given the tight parking. If they could just tighten up the consistency of the food and service this would be a 5 star joint.

Would not recommend. I had chicken piccatta my friend had a chicken sandwich. Both of our chicken were overcooked by about three days. Have never been served chicken this bad. Another had a burger and fries and the fries with both sandwiches were basically non existent. Just overdone small crunch things, again probably three days old. The icing on the cake halfway through friend realized glass was dirty. Would not recommend.

My 2nd time here. I really like this place a lot. They have happy hour until 7pm where beers are $3. This may seem like standard happy hour prices at other places BUT not for great beers like Kentucky Bourbon Ale, Ommegang, Founders... They also have selected appetizers for $5. Get the Pita Pub Nachos its enough for 4 people! Very excited to go back. Our server was also great. Thanks Josh!

Love it here. Very versatile. Its a great place to watch the game but its also a great place to have a nice quiet sit-down dinner. It has a fireplace and on the other side it has a bar with a great TV setup. In the summer they open up the wall and have a nice patio outside it because of the Street location its very private. Everyone that works there is always polite.

Food seemed decent, but it was way overpriced. I would imagine the patio is nice in the summer. We were there on a Friday afternoon and were the only ones, besides a few people at the bar, that were in the whole entire place. It just seems way overpriced for sandwiches. You can only pick from a limited selection and no dinner choices at lunch.

This is the BEST brunch spot on the west side!! By far! Everything on the menu is phenomenal from the crab cake eggs Benedict to the chicken and waffles. No way to go wrong here. If your from Cleveland and youve never been here, youre life is about to change. If youre not from Cleveland and you eat here you will never leave this city.

Had a large party there for Sunday Brunch. We had been there 40 minutes and still had not placed a food order. When our food eventually arrived, the portions were meager and the flavor was on par with a breakfast place like Dennys -- only the prices were 4 times as much. Nothing beyond the Bloody Mary bar was impressive here.
