There isnt a place to review on their site, so I will do it on Google. As a store, I love Horrocks. But Im reviewing their work on my wedding flowers. The flowers themselves on the day were okay. Our bouquets were not quite what I wanted. What I was most disappointed in was the service throughout the process. We worked with florist Amy, and she was quite difficult to work with. Whenever we met with her, we felt we were completely on our own, she gave almost no suggestions and had no vision. One time I made the mistake of going without my mother and I felt like an idiot. She just sits there while you try to explain what you want - which can be difficult if youre not an expert in flowers. Me and my husband chose them because they were more affordable, but I almost wished I had spent another few hundred dollars on better service at Ludemas. Horrocks needs to hire ladies in their florist department who have personality, are friendly, and are actually eager to help you, which Amy seems like she was not. Very disappointed in the Horrocks floral department for my wedding.

I really like Horrocks in Battle Creek, where we usually go. Just out of curiosity, I decided to stop in at the shop in Breton Village in Grand Rapids. I was amazed at the exterior, which features an enormous greenhouse and wheelchair ramps in the entryway. As soon as I stepped inside the shop, I was amazed. I enjoy the selection of bulk foods, the refrigerated goods, the produce, and the deli center with hot soup and free coffee for the patrons. Also, Horrocks Grand Rapids has a sit-in area for people to enjoy food they buy to eat, which is very lovely. In addition to all that, theres a cute little bar for beer and wine tasting. Furthermore, the Grand Rapids location has clothes and hats for sale, which I really miss having in Battle Creek. Basically, Horrocks in Grand Rapids is a beautiful specialized market, and I strongly recommend it to people of all races, ethnicities, genders, and financial statuses. My mother loves it too.

I made a wedding flower consultation months in advance and have been looking forward to the appointment for some guidance and assistance. When I arrived with a bridesmaid and both of my parents the flower consultant was less than welcoming. She seemed extremely annoyed when any questions were asked, had zero pictures out and even had to leave to go "shopping" for ribbons and product to show us. Literally nothing was prepared and her tone was extremely rude. Once the consultant left to grab things, it was apparent that the experience we were having was not enjoyable. 10 minutes into the appointment and it was over. We will definitely NOT be coming back to Horrocks and I would not recommend Horrocks to anyone for your big day.

I called on Wednesday and ordered 6 dozen roses for my mothers birthday on the following Sunday. I spoke with a lady and she quoted me a price for the roses and then a price to wrap them in a bouquet with babys breath, greens and water caps. Great, ordered and done. So I thought.....I get a call on Saturday afternoon and am told that the price to wrap them is more than 3 TIMES the price I was originally quoted. ABOSULETLY UNACCEPTABLE BUSSINESS PRACTICES!!! ITS RIDICULOUS THEY RUN THEIR BUSINESS THIS WAY!!! SCAMMERS!!!!! Canceled the order and called a different store. Will never go to horrocks again and will never recommend anyone to go there!!!

This review is not about the shopping experience which was just fine. My review is about the lack of ability to get through to customer service. I was disconnected twice. ISSUE. Within three hours of shopping at Horrocks my credit card was compromised and was being used in Texas. It was clear that the that the source of the compromise was Horrocks. Thankfully my card company stopped use. Horrocks your customer service is exceptionally poor.

Love this store! Its one of the only places in the area where you can buy meat, eggs, milk and yogurt from humanely raised animals without going to the farmers market. Grassfields, Dreaming Cow, and Mooville are some of the brands offered in this category. I also love their indoor and outdoor plants, especially low cost perennials and their deli. I do wish they had more organic produce and that their prices were a little lower though.

The cashiers are angels. The guys in produce are not as friendly. The Spanish lady in cheese department is sweet and wonderful I know Horrocks is an high end store but the poorest of the poor shop there also. Your reduced items really help. Dont just think about how much Horrocks can get on outdated items think of the community and there needs and the poor. You never know what position in life you might be someday. Thank you.God Bless.

Among the worst places to shop for food...freshness is not a familiar word there...3 recent purchases were either too old or smelled terrible. Black olives in a can (Delallo) smelled like rotten fish when opened...sweet potatoes were too old (dried out, not colorful and yellow, not orange when peeled) ...Amish chicken thighs had a bad taste when cooked. Horrocks is the right named because food there is Horr-ible.

I usually love horrocks, but when its consistently bad, I cant support it anymore. This weekend we got 4 gallons of 2 percent milk to last us two weeks ; they were on sale for a great deal. Opened one tonight and its the consistency of skim milk and tastes awful. So, we check the second gallon and its just as awful. All FOUR gallons are disgusting and had to be dumped. Incredibly disappointed.

I love shopping at Horrocks! The people in the produce department have worked there for years and are always happy to help a customer. Its nice to shop at a place where the people know you and are happy to see you. Their produce prices are a good deal as well. Plus, you get free coffee with flavored syrups, milk and cream and sit down and enjoy it in the coffee area. Cant beat that!

This is the most unique store. They have everything from bird seed to the most unique beers/wines. Beautiful clothes, jewelry, home furnishing/accessories. I have used their floral dept. several times and they have always exceeded my expectations. I love their soup bar with TWELVE different soups. Now, I cant wait for their new Sushi bar to open at the end of the month!!

Love the store!! The wine tasting is fun.. fruits and vegetables great prices. Beautiful flowers and plants .Candy and nuts good selection. Lovely clothes and art work, candles and accessories, but I find to expensive. I wish you had a good variety of cat food . Super deli Dept and soups. And you can relax and enjoy a free coffee. Its a good shopping experience.

My favorite place to shop. Only grocery store I know that doesnt make me want to leave immediately. Somehow the high ceilings and wall art and all the flowers and free coffee make it really nice. Great smoked salmon pieces, live their horrocks own coleslaw, soup bar, deli, eine and beer bar. And I cannot seem to leave without buying s plant from the greenhouse.

Horrocks market cannot be beat for fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, cheese, specialty canned goods, and beer/wine. They have a huge selection of items and everything is very fresh and well looked after. I get all my vegetables from here now and I am afraid that if i ever move out of Lansing I would desperately miss this place.
