So once again with my normal ranting there are a lot of good things about Shelby County Flea Market but then there are some oils that are dedicated 2 ethnic groups and make sure you lock your vehicle hide all valuables because crime in this area is going up there are great deals all over the flea market you just have to be able to know what youre looking for butt there are several dealers inside dealing in counterfeit gold Monies old coins and Ill make counterfeit like printing off dollar bills I mean taking a very rare 1880 S Morgan silver dollar and trying to duplicate that was a special Mark to make it better youll find great deals butt will also find that people will rob you blind and a heartbeat this has happened ladies make sure that you wear your purse around your neck men do not carry your wallet in your front pocket watch out aisle a and aisles C and D also there is a woman selling pets puppies inside theyve not been inoculated youre not believe her do not buy pets from these people there been accusations of puppy mills so on and so forth when you purchase used Goods and tell you right now the guy in between Ill B&C that sell cell phone cases they are not authentic do not expect authentic product 100% of the time

I love flea markets but this place was horrid. #1 smoking in poorly ventilated areas is not cool. #2 The majority of shops were poorly put together. #3 no enforcement of the rules, there were pets everywhere and all kinds of signs saying no pets (my kids have allergies to pet animals) and #4, most if not everything was over priced. The only reason I didnt "Hate it" with one star is due to the service I received from the vendors I visited and chose to spend my money. That is NOT saying all of the vendors were cool. It took the entire Sticker/Decal employee line to answer one persons question while I waited to simply review the catalog of vinyl. I did not spend my money there. The toy helicoper shop with the video games and toys was awesome. They were great! in Building C! Otherwise, forget the place ever existed.

I live 2 minutes from this flea market and I can tell you with great confidence that everyone in this region hopes it gets torn down. The products on sale are terrible. It is very much like visiting the 3rd world, and I grew up overseas. The hispanic vendors are very kind and have some ok wares, but the vast majority of what is on sale here is complete junk. Even things like videogames are way out of whack. The prices for that booth are what youd expect for new games in the late 90s. Dont even get me started on the vintage war booths.. No dice. Avoid this one completely. There are no hidden gems.

I used to go here all the time with my family just a few years ago, but it has really (really) gone down hill. All the vendors sell the same cheap garbage, not the unique hodgepodge of items I was used to, and it reeks of cigarette smoke (and some other nasty smell near the over priced video game booth in the food court). Most of the booths I used to visit have closed up and left. I love flea markets, antique malls, rummage sales, and the like, but this one is just depressing. Its a shame since I used to love it here. Seriously, save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Youll just be disappointed.

Not The Place to go. A bunch of junk and over priced. A $1.27 for a small coke in the Flea Market is ridiculous. A case of coke mix costs $7.50 and then you just need to add soda water. How do they justify that. The flea market is not clean either. Garbage overflowing, booths filled with cob webs and wet. Its like watching something slowly decay. Additionally, whats up with entrance: potholes as big as semi tires!

Nasty nasty place !!!! This place was disgusting, smelly, people were smoking in there and the junk was overpriced and gross. I seriously felt like I needed a shower and bottle of hand sanitizer when I left there. I know there is a big immigrant population in Shelby county, but I swear 99.9% of the people that were selling and shopping were Hispanic. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE!

I used to love this place. Id go there every weekend. Now, instead of antique and vintage stuff, the aisles are stuffed with boxes of old food...kids running around everywhere, and way-too-high prices for what you get. I still stop by now and then, but this place is going downhill fast. The owners need to get a handle on their vendors.

Not very good could not read the signs or understand the language. Little MEXICO with great chicken livers. Had to point to place order. I did see a couple of natives and one was with myself. Nice people though just dont speak or understand the language.

Not bad. Its a pretty good sized flea market. Lots of latin items which is cool and different. It made me feel like I was walking a market back in Mexico. Very cool vibe. Theres a taco place there too that sells good tacos that we get every time we go.

I grew up going here and as I have aged so has the market. It is now consumed with junk... FYI great gifts for my kids and family supplies comes out of here and its home to me but could definitely use some new management. Am a business manager FYI

They have a huge selection of clothes, jewelry, electronics and even some food, at very good and cheap prices. You just have to look past the structure- remember its a flea market, not a mall. They also have a good guy there for jewelry repair.

I like flea markets and thrift stores, but this place is a grease-pit! Games, DVDs, and records are way overpriced. Not to mention the food they have sucks, it smells, its dirty, and its a fire trap. STAY AWAY.

Used to be a lot better a couple years ago, its turned into a Mexican mall except for a few awesome shops like Morning wood Gifts. This flea market will only be open for approximately one more year.

This place is NOT worth the trip. Its like Canal Street in NYC except filled with smoke and the smell of deep fried food. We felt like we walked into a street market in a third world country.
