I visit Giant Eagle in Painesville for all of my sushi needs, locally. This market sells surprisingly high quality sushi and is one of the very few places that exist in town that sell it on demand. Its made daily and the sushi chefs are always very friendly and nice towards me when I stop in. The chefs follow AFC Southern Tsunami menu, which can also be found online. I found this to be extremely helpful when ordering custom rolls, which the chefs here will also do occasionally. The chefs are not around during all shifts however, so I would recommend visiting during morning/afternoon hours to increase the odds of the chefs being available.

The last time I had gone to Giant Eagle, I had to point out to a store employee that every single box of "fresh organic" strawberries were days beyond rotten. They were becoming a brown/black color and also had started leaking juice from them starting to decay. I also had to point out that all of the greens on the beets they had out were all eat up by bugs. There were other fruits and vegetables that looked the same way. A good amount of "fresh produce" was days old and looked like there is no quality control in the produce department. Everything else in the store on the other hand is top notch.

The cashier Jim gave me a whirl of agony when the self service register was acting up. He proceeded to yell at me and then talked out loud about the product I was buying (it was a bit embarrassing of what I purchased) he then tried to accuse me of stealing but the register said I scanned the only item I purchased. After this fiasco he did the same to an older woman who was having trouble with the register. I wrote a review with the survey site on the receipt but no one got back to me. Its best to avoid this place.

this is the best store then when they closed Tops and Marcs is one of the best places to. first i will there you that i send $245.00 in grocerys and I got 245 points in gas or/and carwash. after i put my grocerys in my car i went to the Get-Go by Giant Eagle and i use 210 of my points in gas. after that i went to the Wet-Go by Giant Eagle to get a car and my car vacumm and i use 190 of my points. THANK YOU GIANT EAGLE, GET-GO, WET-GO

We love Giant Eagle. Youll see us there every Saturday. Great stock levels, complete inventory, fresh produce, a creative bakery, a very extensive wine and liquor store. Reasonable meat prices (as compared to the area), convenient pharmacy and GAS POINTS. We also visit Get-Go to redeem gas points about once every 2 weeks. Dont forget the food court area - never shop on an empty stomach!

You must shop here... There is an abundant selection of everything. You will find items here that you will not find at most grocery stores. Produce selection is wonderful.... Beer and wine choices abound.... Deli is crazy. Fresh baked goods with cakes and donuts and excellent fresh beads. Of course the butcher section is glorious as well.

Went here so my husband can go to the bank. I looked around a tad and they have so much more products and choices than other Giant Eagles. The first thing you to when entering is the produce! Wow wee, every Giant Eagle needs to be like this. The store was full to the brim of people and I can see why. Would not mind seeing more next time.

I avoid this store as much as possible! They move the merchandise around all the time and there are always lines at the checkout... Update: as of a couple weeks ago, they started a Curbside pickup!! You order everything online, pick a time for pick up, and they bring it to your car!!! Now Im happy :)

We would shop here a lot until their prices got higher. We now shop at a competitive grocery store down the road and save over $100 dollars a month. Giant Eagle has a great selection of products and services but would gain more customers if we a little more competitive.

Giant Eagle has the best hot foods. They offer 5 prepared lunch/dinner items for $19.99, which is enough food for one person to eat all week long. It is pretty expensive to shop there; but youll find better quality, when compared to other places.

Hard to rate it higher than 3 stars when their produce is always about 5 days older than it should be (goes bad at home within a few days) and you have to endure that parking lot. Theres no easy way in and its nearly impossible to leave.

Prices are pretty steep unless you specifically shop for deals, but they can be found. Sushi is pretty good for grocery store sushi. Large selection of beers and and wines & has a state liquor store inside so that is convenient as well.

Always clean and well stocked. I try to avoid going after work as the checkout lines are insane even tho there are a bunch of checkouts open. Just very busy around 5. Other than that wonderful store to shop.

Pretty good selection. Prices can be pretty high. An example is a particular brand of spaghetti sauce is nearly $8.00 whereas at other stores its nearly $4.00. Sometimes they have decent deals going on.

Has most of your grocerie needs available. Price on produce is high and their meats vary in both price and quality. Staff is friendly and helpful though. Which is nice.
