While waiting to self check out, I walked up to a register that wasnt open. I didnt notice. The cashier that was working the line said, "that lines not open". I waited my turn for the next available register. When we were checking out the register required a cashiers assistance. When she came over to me, she asked me, "whats the problem?" I explained that my teenage daughter was assisting me and placed something on the bagging scale and moved another bag at the same time and the register locked up. The cashier said, "you need to calm down." My daughter looked at me & we both kind of giggled because we thought she was talking to the register. I then said, I know these things always go off on me. She then looked at me and said, "no, you need to calm down." My daughter and I were both completely confused. So, I asked her, excuse me? So, she thought it was necessary to say again that I needed to calm down....again! I have absolutely no idea what she was referring to. I was attempting to have a relaxing, fun weekend with my daughter and to be treated like I was a child? A poorly behaved child no less? Needless to say, Im not too happy about it. Her statement and behavior was completely unacceptable & not at all what I am use to experiencing at my home Kroger.

When shopping after hours (around midnight) on 27-28 October 2016 we were susprised to learn there were no checkout cashiers available. Despite the fact that we spent over $100, with difficulty we self checked-out with less than very little help from an associate who, in our opinion, didnt seem interested in helping. Furthermore, when I asked about getting a Kroger card discount using a registered telephone number she advised me I would have to come back tomorrow with my receipt instead of instructing us from the beginning on how to use a Kroger self checkout machine. I may shop Krogers again but never after hours.

Ive been to a lot of Kroger stores, this has to be the best one Ive seen. Its on steroids and its pretty cool. Im not used to seeing fresh food self serve bars and Starbucks and all the extras in a grocery store. We made a mistake though, we tried shopping on a Saturday. There were so many people inside this Kroger on Saturday that it could have probably qualified for its own zip code. Nothing the store can do about it though, if youre reading this dont come on a Saturday, plan accordingly. but other than that, this is the store youll want to visit for your vacation groceries.

Sweet Jesus on a golden hammock, the wine selection. For a grocer, the selection was large and very impressive. The rest of the store was also large and very impressive having loads more food choices than I was expecting. When your store has an antipasto bar and a speciality cookie bar I dont know what else to say other than good job sirs and madams. Good job. Final note, you certainly have a lot of items sitting at the entrance, I love that you have that much trust in your customers!

Pharmacy tech Beth was extremely rude. She didnt run our insurance and was about the charge us $53 for no reason. When I asked her if I could see the medication she threw it in front of me and got really mad. Later pharmacist Kate fixed the problem she was nice. I dont even mention Beth was about to give us another patients medication to us. Im really afraid if she would hurt someone. Please get your medication fro. Another pharmacy.

The whole Kroger complex on Hilton Head is all new since Ive last visited the island. OMG - this place is amazing. The fruit and vegetable section is huge and everything is so fresh. The store is so big and they have a little bit of everything - with very good prices. Its a little too big for a quick trip to the grocery store, but if you need to stock up on your groceries, this place is perfect. Helpful staff and very clean.

Went to the Starbucks inside and the 3 young ladies "working" there had better things to do than wait on customers. Two were arguing about how one was leaving for her other job but the other one wouldnt cover for her. The third young lady declared all she was going to do was work the registar. I found that statement ironic since I had literally been standing at that registar for 5 minutes and no work had been done on it.

A very nice, clean store with decent prices. I did however have a very negative experience with an older gentleman named Fred who works in the Wine department. He was extremely confrontational, rude, and unprofessional. I spoke to management regarding the way I was treated by him. Hopefully he wont do the same to others. It makes me not want to shop here again unfortunately, because I do like the rest of the store.

Great variety but asked for help concerning the availability of a particular potato chip. Store clerks seemed confused on why I would ask them for help but did help me. That particular chip wasnt sold there and the clerk provide no other options. After a 30 second glance, I found a substitute that was Kroger brand that the clerk didnt even attempt to look for or recommend.

I called to ask a simple question and the guy was like brain-dead he wasnt sure he didnt know theres nobody to ask well it didnt help me at all maybe you could go look maybe you could ask somebody just did not care one way or the other to help me I dont know why I rated 2 Stars ... I called at 6:05 p.m. on a Friday night

A well run store with several sections that really shine. Great cheese department, wine and beer section, and a Starbucks. Dont miss the fact that you can order your cold cuts via the computer screen in the vestibule and pick them up at your convenience rather than standing around waiting!

Thank goodness its here and the Starbucks is a plus. However there is no staff in the aisles to help you find items. The cashiers dont know where anything is either. This needs to improve because the store is enormous and not in a typical geocery store layout.

Typical mid-level grocery store. They were out of stock on many dairy items when there. Theyre open 24 hours, but lock the doors on one side after a certain time without warning you after you check out so you have to double back to exit.

Kroger has great prices, and a great gas rewards system. (If you have a Kroger gas station available.) Also, if you have a rewards card they send you coupons based on what you buy so you get even more savings.

Coming from California, this place is as big as a Walmart Super Center with quality foods and excellent prices. Large variety in every department. Why arent these stores throughout the country?

I live on the island and Im here every week. Very fresh food and a large organic and health conscious section too. During the summer, its packed on Saturday nights with tourists.

Nice store. Helpful staff and competitive pricing. But I found that this store lacks the typical Kroger layout of our stores. It also only had two restrooms. No family bathroom.
