I love Aldi for the prices! The fruits and vegetables are always amazing prices compared to Harris Teeter. However, the fruits are usually smaller in size. (This is ok because we dont need an apple to feed 3 people.) Almost seems like the apples are the last of the bunch picked from the tree. Still very tastey though. I love their nuts and cheese selection - the pistachios, walnuts, aged cheddar and Brie is awesome! Can not find these products anywhere cheaper and always delicious!! I have tried some of the generic name brands. All of the granola bars and the crackers are awesome! Definitely a must buy. Generic cereals arent that great but that goes for any store. The part you must watch for is inspecting the produce products before you buy them. I have found mold before on a product or two in the summer months but 95% of the time, its good. In comparison, I use the Harris Teeter uptown and their products are not always up to par either.

Im from Detroit, Mi. The Freedom Drive Aldi is the dirtiest, poorly stocked, most disorganized "market" (any brand) Ive ever visited. The Detroit Aldies, which I frequented, were clean, well stocked (though they didnt sell Gritz), friendly, with clean buggies and secure parking lots. I did see two Charlotte Police cars in the lot but no security inside the grocery. With the availability of only a few buggies, the CPD was not concerned about buggy theft, outside the store. Just horrible! The Charlotte market prices were much higher than the Detroit prices. (ie. milk $3.69/$2.69, lg. eggs $2.09/$1.49 & 10# russet potatoes $3.49/$2.49). Charlotte, yall are getting robbed by a ghetto pimp.

This weekend me and my husband decided to go to cook out which is beside aldi on Freedom Dr and you have to drive threw their parking lot in order to get into the restaurant. We ended up hitting a huge pothole that the security guards seen and did not have orange cones around the hole!! Now my car is leaking oil everywhere ...uuuuhhhhhhhh!!!!! Who do I contact because this damage was done to my vehicle over your negligence to maintain the parking lot hole!!!!

Aldis has the best prices hands down! The employees there are super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Although there are some items not available, the prices make up for it. Also, the quality of their brands, which are European, are actually if better quality than most American brands.

Considering the location, this place isnt that bad (thanks to the on-duty police officer). could improve in some areas: have at least one more register open, have a better and fresher produce selection, and somehow make it not smell like trash inside the store.

This is a nice Aldi store however my rate will not come till they get the gnats out of the beautiful fruit they have I purposely have not purchased the fruit such as blackberries because of the gnats in the packages all over the fruit GROSS!!!!!!

They pay there employee pretty well but I am not a fan of off brand food yes its a different in taste with most items. Has dirty in the can goods like two handful of dirty why would I want that also the meat to expensive

You can find some really great deals here. Store is small but items are plentiful. The one major drawback is the way they just throw your items into your grocery cart as they ring them up.
