As a former deli associate from another Publix, I can say this deli is horrible. Most of the employees seem impatient and not willing to help customers. In the morning hours, theres usually nothing but gossip about what sounds like other employees. Slicers dont seem to be properly cleaned every 4 hours like theyre supposed to be. Online orders normally dont have expiration times written on them like theyre supposed to have. Some employees fail to wear the proper PPE (cutting gloves) while using a knife or wiping a slicer down. Sometimes I go in there, especially during the afternoon/evening hours, and the deli looks like a wreck. The floor is a mess with trash everywhere, trash cans are filled to the brim and overflowing, tables are disorganized and dont look clean at all. On multiple occasions, Ive also caught employees taking bread out of bread bins in the evening and putting the bread in an unused trash bag and hiding it under the case you get boxed chicken from, and then using said bread on peoples subs. Talk about unsanitary. Speaking of unsanitary, it doesnt seem like some of the employees wash their hands, or change their gloves on a regular basis, like theyre supposed to. As a former Publix employee, take my word and avoid this deli. They dont seem to follow hardly any of the Publix standards.

Their sub station SUCKS!! They take forever to make a sub and theyre RUDE. The other day I went with my friend to get subs and we were standing there for a good 10 minutes while the employees had conversations and totally ignored us. I got pissed and walked away. At least greet us and say to wait a second. Today I went to get a sub and the lady cut the wrong meat because she "heard wrong" and then basically threw my sandwich at me when she was done. Not my fault you heard wrong. I wanted to get black licorice, which they apparently dont carry. Only a small bag of Good N Plenties, which I didnt really want. I also wanted to get Velveeta bacon Mac N Cheese and they dont carry that or bacon cheeseburger hamburger helper. Sigh. Lesson learned, Im gonna continue shopping at Walmart from now on.

I love Publix supermarkets and this location is no exception. They constantly have fresh food, are well stocked, and have friendly employees. I love that they offer a vegetarian sushi roll. They also have the best sales. Ive ordered subs from time to time (online) and they are always delicious. My only complaint in that area is that they didnt have my sub ready in time, during one of my visits. The one time I had something wrong with something I purchased here, they took care of it right away. My mother also found that something they had on sale, didnt ring up right at the register and on her receipt. Publix took care of that and refunded all of her money.

Not really sure how to read this the store itself is great and friendly theyre helpful and you cant ask for more than that. But, the deli has grown out of control people dont answer the phone you cant get an order in and the store doesnt seem to man up the deli between say five and seven and make sure that people arent waiting forever to pick up their things so anyway I think the store needs to be for the personnel in the deli department so things will fly smoother because frankly were tired of going to call and nobody ever answer the phone. So I would give the store itself a number five but the deli I would give one or a negative one.

Publix helped make an amazing memory today!! I live in South Carolina, and my mother lives in Cocoa, FL. Wanted to surprise her that she will be a grandmother soon! Publix took my order and payment over the phone (thank you Michelle) and we surprised her with a customized cake (thank you to the lady in the bakery working all by herself but still finding the time to make this happen!) My mother was told to grab something from the bakery that was for dessert which be ready when she got there and in her name, so she had no idea until she saw the cake! Thank you Publix for helping out with this amazing surprise!!!!

This Publix has improved since I complained to management about being consistently ignored by the staff. However it seems most people who work there seem to hate their jobs and are not interested in helping customers. the Deli is particularly difficult with the bakery a close second on most days. I find that the organization of product difficult and sometimes I cant find the product I need. Disappointing, hopefully they will continue to improve.

I did an online order for subs for 8:15p pick up. They were not ready until 8:45. My husband, who picked them up, said the guy making subs ignored all the slips coming out of the machine. He was moving slow as molasses and couldnt remember more than one topping at a time. Fortunately the manager saw a lot of people waiting and jumped in to help out.

We stopped here on our way to the beach! Picked up a sub for the Hubby and a wrap for me. This place was awesome! Publix always is great but this place went beyond. Jacob was our sandwich artist and he was superb! He was polite respectful attentive and very friendly! In the words of the Hubby Jacob is a SOLID worke, he really just did a SOLID job?

This Publix is good - its Publix! However they stopped carrying some items that other local Publix and other chains carry - for example pure cane sugar Dr. Pepper - and dont always stay stocked with other items. Not sure why. But the staff is nice and if you ask for help they go out of their way to help, generally.

Great customer service. Produce is great and their meat selection is usually pretty good. Can be more expensive than somewhere like Walmart, but its honestly worth it just because its a better experience overall.

The worst publix ever... DIRTY... I bought some fish and when I came home to cook it I found worms in it. I returned the fish at another publix. Its sad when another publix talks bad about 524 also... DO BETTER...
