Over the last 4 years I have spent thousands of dollars on two 100 gallon fishtanks with this store. I ended up breaking one of them down and gave this establishment all of the fish and management took many for their own tanks. At that time I bought a 200 dollar canister pump which recently sprung a huge leak on a Friday night. Marineland is not open until monday. The employees offered to hold my fish until a new pump was sent. Upon calling the manager said he would only do that for one day, which wouldnt help at all. I am a person who supports local businesses, but will now do business in Columbus. Its too expensive to do business with an establishment that does not stand behind product or care about a customers outcome. Personally, I would recommend anyone else in Mt Vernon to do the same. Very, very disappointing.

Love this local store. Employees are always happy to help you find what you need. I can believe this store does well because of how it treats its customers and the amazing items they have in stock. So much more convenient than heading north or south to buy a couple items at a time for my pets. Convenience costs, though. I can usually find the same things for a lot less money on Amazon. Try to shop the local places because its good for our local economy.

I found the total opposite situation when I went to this store. I found Orijen dog food that I was looking for, a large selection of crates, collars and all kinds of pet supplies. MacKenzie approached and asked if she could help us find anything and she had great suggestions! I will definitely go back! You wont believe their amazing supply of dog toys!

A decent place to get your pet supplies. The pet food & treat selection is great. They have some dog food here I had to special order at another major pet supply store (Petsmart) The other pet need like collars, leashes & toys is not as vast as the major chain stores. But how often do you need those things.

This is probably the most extensive pet food and supply establishment in town. If you want it, its probably here. If it isnt they may be able to order it for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices can tend to run a bit high, so be aware.

Good for when you need something at the spur of the moment but their fish are hit and miss. They care for their animals but its kinda like buying your fish at Walmart, it could live 5 years or 5 days.

Horrible customer service. Defective light within 24 hours of purchase. Killed my fish. Will not replace the fish or the light. "Sorry you need to contact the manufacturer"

Fish variety is ok. Seems like they always stock the same types of fish. And alot of the tanks look filthy and alot of times the feeder fish look diseased.

I love this store. They have GREAT customer service, no matter what others say. I sell gerbils to them and they are always pleasant and easy to deal with.
