I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life in any pawn shop, as well as any business in general, along with the most comically surreal employees Ive ever met. Went into this place looking for a loan on some high-end firearms. Spoke to three different employees. First up was the guy working the gun counter. He was: uninformed, lazy, suspicious, ignorant and for some reason shadily gossiping to the manager as I waited in line to talk to the "loan guy". To say that this guy didnt want to listen to me after the first fifteen seconds is an understatement. Not only that, he got everything wrong. Its really hard to appraise an item when you dont (refuse to) listen and continually look up the *wrong* item. Speaking of, the "loan guy". A middle-aged, gangly "gentleman" with gray hair and goatee, who was, despite me being absolutely polite and courteous, was: rude, absolutely obnoxious, unprofessional, and for lack of a better word, assholish. Why? Because he told me the amount that I was going to be offered for my firearms and I simply asked (honest to God, folks) "How did you come up with that amount?" Then this "gentlemen" proceeded to endure something that resembled an epileptic seizure to prevent me from speaking and/or asking any further questions so that he could tell me to wait for the manager. Now this guy takes the cake. I wish I had the patience to describe in detail how childish this "man", the manager, was when dealing with the fact that he and his employees knew absolutely nothing about the merchandise they were handling. Either that or they are just a bunch of racist bigots looking at a person with dark skin and tattoos with $10,000 worth of firearms asking for a minimal pawn loan as a thief. After all, when I told the manager to go eff himself when his final offer of "Will $1,000 help you out today?" in true Les Gold Hardcore Pawn style, he threatened to "call law enforcement on [me] you". Why are you going to call the police? Because I said your offer was insulting? Because I itemized the firearms, serial numbers and their values on a ledger and said that my loan request amount of $2,500 was a fair deal? Thats 25% which is pretty much a slam dunk in the pawn business -- youre a bad salesman or just really bad at math. You want to call law enforcement on me for that? If you have anything of value, have any sense, and God forbid you happen to be a person of color -- go somewhere else.

I bought a samsung tv (used) of course, the guy took off 20% so it was 213.50 with tax. But they are having an inventory reduction sale, and the sign out front of the store says up to 50% off. Anyway i get the tv home and the picture starts going out and i had to keep turning it off and on. So i look at the receipt and it says you only have 3 days to get your cash back and 14 days for an instore credit. So first i call the milford location because the amelia location didnt have much of a selection. The guy told me that they had 19" up to 60" tvs and they were 20 to 50% off right now. So i take the tv back to the amelia location and the sales guy says didnt they tell you about this tv, and i said no i never would of bought it. He says Im sorry about that. So we go look at what they have left and the only other 40" they have has a big hole in the top, so he says he is going to ask his manager if they can call the milford location and find us one for the same price. So milford tells them yes. So the guy goes to return the tv, but hes never done a return before so the manager says the money has to be put back on my card, which was used as a debit with the pin number. Not credit, so they got their money instantly. But he tells me thats their policy, if it came off a card it has to go back on a card. So now i have to wait 3 to 5 days for the money or get an instore credit, which i needed the tv. So i take the credit to the milford location and the tv is the same brand and size, it even looks to be the same model. So the girl brings it up to the counter and takes the sold tag off and i see they have this one priced at 219.99 the other one i got was 249.99 and they took off 20%. So i say you can give me a better deal on this one, cant you? She says no. So i ask for a manager. I tell her what happened at the amelia location she says let me see what i can do. So after 30 minutes or so i get the tv for 192.15. Then she is telling me she cant give me cash, which is crazy. The moral of the story is they have always ripped me off when i pawned or sold them stuff. Like back in july we needed some cash, we took our 6 month old visio 50" 4k uhd smart tv. We had to sell it to them and only got 130, if we pawned it they would only give 100.and on the price of their tvs, walmart has a 1080p 40" brand new for 268. So their used tvs arent that good of a deal. I WILL NEVER GO TO FACET FOR ANY REASON!!

Based on selling items, not buying or taking loan. Visited to sell some gold scrap, after waiting for a half hour with one customer ahead of me was offered a measly 50% of the actual value. When I asked why the offer was so low, I was told that "My 14k gold scrap at the price I was asking for was for the best condition 14k gold." Since when is one 14k piece of scrap different than another piece of 14k scrap? The answer is there is no difference. They wanted to give me 50 cents for my dollar. Before you sell your gold, look elsewhere. I went to another buyer within a few miles and got 90% of the actual value. 2 stars- You can only expect lowball offers from a pawn shop, otherwise, the people who work there are friendly and customer service isnt too awful considering their typical customer base. Would have given 1 star for the lowest offer in town.

I have bought a few things from Facet in the past few months. I got great service, and great prices on the items I bought ( a pearl masters drumset, a sabian AAX cymbal, and .40 cal Pistol. ) I traded in (or sold them a few items) and got fair trade value out of each item. I enjoyed doing business with them, and will try and stop by their store once a month to see if they have anything new and interesting I might like. I have never pawned anything, but if a situation came up where i needed quick cash on some of my items, I would go there and expect to be treated well.
