My boyfriends four watches were repaired with new batteries extremely quickly. When I had dropped off the four watches and a diamond bracelet on Saturday the girl working was extremely kind and courteous and explained that I would be given a price estimate Monday and told how much it would be and if they could make the diamond bracelet longer. Mind you I gave them the pieces and parts needed to make the adjustment. I get a call saying the price estimate is 100$ dollars and to call them back to let them know if they should go ahead with the bracelet. I was very busy working Monday and Tuesday, so I decided to go in Wednesday and request that my bracelet not be done and only the watches. The lady, I am assuming it is, Linda, informs me that they probably already did the bracelet and there was no way to reverse the process. Then she says I can do a payment plan. It would be 100$ to fix a 250$ bracelet, it would take three solders and I wasnt even able to get a second opinion or anything because they just decided to do it without my permission. I found the whole thing quite odd. I was incredibly upset with my experience, but Linda called me today and apologized. I will be picking up my bracelet today for a more reasonable price and I found the end effect much more professional. My boyfriend and I enjoy supporting local because there are too many big chains around and supporting local means supporting the greater community. I recommend Standing Rock Jewelers to get your jewelry and watches repaired. Just make sure to keep an eye out if something seems a little off.

Most rude experience I have ever had in any store. Before I went in, I called and asked about resizing a ring to be smaller. Having never gone to a jewelry store before (and the place not having any information about going smaller with rings) I felt that this was a justified question. The man on the other end sighed and said "Yeah, we do that every day." in such a rude tone. I thanked him and went in about an hour later. After standing there for almost 10 minutes while the worker basically flipped through a book with a customer, he said "Do you need something?" to me in a very annoyed manner. I told him that I had called earlier about resizing a ring. He walked over and asked where the ring was and I took it off my necklace. He picked it up and said "What is this?" in a kind of disgusted tone, and I told him copper. He handed it back to me immediately and said "I cant even touch this. No. Nope. We only handle silver and gold here. I cant touch it. [he hands it back to me, disgusted] Wed melt that copper if we tried..." and as he finished his sentence he turned away from me and went back to what he was doing. Now, I know that he just doesnt have the equipment to do it, but instead he made me feel like I was the one in the wrong for asking a simple question. Apparently I had taken up too much of his time, and apparently I was too "poor looking" to be spoken to in the way he was speaking to the other customer. So incredibly, disturbingly rude and condescending. I will never return to this jeweler.

Picked up my bracelet about a week ago. The girl working said they would get back to me about the case that I brought my bracelet in. When she gave me my bracelet I got it in a little brown envelope, not the case that I brought. She wasnt sure where it was, havent heard anything. 60$ for three solders that I did not request to have done, but ended up agreeing on that price because I didnt want it to get ruined. I recommend getting your watches and easy jewelry repairs done here because its local, but Im going to start going back to my local jeweler back home.
