bought an engagement ring and could not have been happier about it... michael is clearly very passionate about his work and takes a great deal of pride in what he does... went to a number of jewelers, it was just a whole different experience with him... most of them are trying to sell me on stones and settings, hes trying to teach me about diamonds... gave me a good price and really worked with me on the setting... ... if youre a dumb guy like me who knows nothing about what to get for your lady, this is the place to be... if shes a little more specific about what she wants, he can save you a lot of time and heartache searching for the precise setting because he is also great at making custom, unique settings that you will not find anywhere else....

Terrible service. Very rude. Dishonest. Brought him bracelet for a small repair on pickup charged me twice more then he promised (I noticed it only after checked my receipt-didn’t even tell me). Owner told me that I cant find a better price for such job. I got better estimate in a first shop. DON’T GO TO THAT PLACE, around a lot of honest, polite professional jewelry shops.

After talking to the sales person(who told me there was different measures of ounces?) I was told that 1oz Kruggerand was worth 800. Called a different store and they said and 1 ounce is an ounce and offered about 10% less then market trading value. Market value today is around $1072 they offered $975. Dont let Michael Hayes Jewelry FOOL YOU they will rip you off.

Amazing designer and wonderful person. I love the ring Michael designed for me and he worked with me to see the diamond I had to offset the cost of the ring. I use Michael Hayes for all of my repain needs as well!
