Sales department is great. Everyone inside is very helpful, willing to make a deal, and the dont pressure you into buying things you dont want or need. If you buy a bike there, theyll give you a 10% discount on almost everything you buy for the first year (even though they claim only parts and accessories). If I change to another bike, I would definitely return to this sales team. The service department, on the other hand, is terrible. When I brought my bike in for my first service, I found that my appointment had been canceled even though I brought the bike in when I said I was going to. They "squeezed me in" in an attempt to right their wrong, and took much more time than they originally told me to do the service. After changing the oil for the first time myself after the original service (second time for the bike), I found that the service department had over-torqued the oil filter. I had to completely disassemble the side of the bike in order to have enough room to get enough torque from a 2 foot- long cheater bar just to make it budge. What should have been a 30 minute project ended up taking several hours due to this inconvenience. Bottom line; sales good, service bad. Id rather drive across the country to find a reputable service department than to take it to Ohio Motorcycle.

I visited Ride1 powersports in July 2016,In Hilliard,Ohio, The salesman Terry was incredible. I spoke with him on the phone prior to my visit looking for a good deal, WOW, I went there with a particular motorcycle in mind and come away with the Bike of my dreams. for an incredible price, the visit was comfortable( Ive spent many an hour sitting across the table from new car salesmen ) this was absolutley NO pressure sales, Terry was awesome, His Knowledge about Bikes and recreational equiptment was vast, and he knew what was in invetory at Both locations, The finance person Shawn added to the pleasent feeling by finding a way to buy my new bike pretty much on my terms. A big Thank You to all of the folks at Ride 1 for making this a great experience, I will definatly buy my other "toys" at their store, (Nothing like the feel and smell of new machines) the service was top flight and they had my bike brought in from the Springfield store and had it serviced and ready for me to ride away that afternoon, I would highly reccomend a visit to one of thier locations for your next purchase, P.S. did I mention they saved me a bunch of money:) !

The guy at the parts counter is fantastic. Knows his stuff, is generous with information - absolutely the best! The sales staff however isnt so great. I recently walked in with my wife - looking for a bike we could ride together on. Once the salesman heard I was riding a Yamaha XT250, he turned up his nose and found something else to do and ignored my wife and I for the rest of the half hour we were there. I was amused. I am a business owner from Upper Arlington - I can buy whatever I want. I just called to make arrangements to look at the Yamaha SR 400 they are advertising as being in stock. I was it was in the warehouse and if I wanted to look at it, I had to give them a deposit before they would pull it out of the warehouse for me to see. I do not put down deposits for the "privilege" of looking at a stores stock. So...I will buy from one of the many other Yamaha dealers. I will go back for parts as the guy at the counter is fantastic - but as for spending any serious money there... no way.

“Rick -I wanted to share with you what a positive experience it was purchasing my 2012 BMW GTL motorcycle from your dealership. Buff, my sales professional, was extraordinary. He was low pressure, could relate to my Harley versus BMW thoughts and uneasiness, and was more than accommodating with test drives, the multiple visits, installation of accessories and his follow through after my purchase was sincere. Patti in the finance group was extremely flexible, helped to accommodate my schedule for paperwork, and made me feel like a valued customer. By far, this has been the best purchase experience I have had in at least 20 years. I have purchased many vehicles over the years, so this genuine perspective is shared with some level of significance. I would not hesitate buying from Ohio Motorcycle again. Clearly your management and personality has made these great assets make your dealership great! Many Thanks”

I bought some parts for a top end for my grandsons Suzuki 85. We did not get an owners manual when we got the used bike. When I went to install parts, I was unsure how remove power valve without breaking other parts. I searched the internet to no avail. I got in the car and went to Ohio Motorcycle. The guys in the parts department could not have been more helpful. They explained what needed to be done, showed me the instruction pages in the manual and also copied them for me, as I did not have money to buy a manual. They went beyond expectations. I like buy most parts from my local dealers as you can not get customer service from the internet like you can from a friendly person.”

I bought a bike here and the guys were nice enough but at the end of the deal they changed what they were offering me for the bike because of "issues" they said had to be fixed before they could sell it ( They instantly rolled the bike inside and put a price tag on it without fixing anything) They also over charged me for the bike I purchased which is my own fault. When I purchased the bike i asked about my 600 mile check up they said right around $125 and when I called in at 600 miles they said actually that 600 mile check up would be $490. I think this shop is not to be trusted, and sadly I discourage other from visiting it.

Ive been having issues with my classic Honda motorcycle and called R1 to schedule a service. Without hesitation, the gentleman in service asked about the problems Ive been experiencing. He spent a solid 20 minutes on the phone providing me possible problems, tests to try, and general advice for tuning older bikes. He certainly went above and beyond to help me so I could try a few more things before spending an arm and leg on servicing.

Fleeced on a 12k Service. Told one price on phone and charged another at shop. Was charged over $400 more than what a friend paid for same service in California...seriously? It costs more in Hilliard? Shady place also lied to me about the availability of BMW gloves. Would ride 3 hours before I used this place again. Cant be trusted. $870+ for a 12k service for a BMW F bike. Can you say FLEECED!? Stay AWAY!

No longer has BMW, but asked me to come back and check again because they should be selling some soon. Sells had no information on financing. Sells said the manager Rick knows about it, but end the end he didnt, and Rick never came to talk to me in person. Did I mention that I was the only customer there? Unacceptable customer service. It made me feel like I was in a pawn shop that didnt want to sell anything.
