As the Executive Director of the Ohio Independent Automobile Dealers Association I have been blessed to have more than 45 years of experience in our industry. During that time I have also met thousands of motor vehicle dealers in more than 28 different countries. During that time I have found one undeniable fact to be true. If a motor vehicle dealer is not a member of their individual dealer association they can never succed as a quality dealer because they dont have enough of respect for themselves or the consumers to whom they sell to be sure that they are legal and compliant in all of their programs and proceedures. Independent Motorsports and in particular, Ray So, is a member of his dealer association, he is both legal and compliant in all of his dealings and he is without a doubt a quality dealer. One other fact I have found to be true and that is that all of us make mistakes because all of us are human and when we make a mistake there are only two things that we should do. First, try your absolute best to correct the mistake and Second, learn from your mistake. Ray has admitted to any mistake he or his company has made and he has tried to correct those few mistakes but more importantly he has learned from them as well. This is the sign of Professional! If any individual is considering a purchase from Ray So at Independent Motor Sports I would say without reservation that you would not only receive a very fair deal but more importantly, you will receive outstanding service as well. It would rather give no stars but google doesnt let me post a review without...I wouldnt recommend this place if it was the last motorcycle place around, my husband gave it a second try even though after the first time he had put a deposit on a bike and when he went back the next morning the associate Pamela Rocco sold it, didnt even have the decency to call him instead made him waste his time on going back to the store to find out the bike was sold. Then the second time he figured lets give it another try giving the store the benefit of the doubt that it was a one time mistake but instead this time she ran both our credits and told him he was approved asked for a deposit to hold the bike and even let us put a sold sign on the bike, but when he went back to sign the final papers she told him that he was declined after telling him the day before he was approved again didnt have the professionalism to call instead making us waste another half day of work. Completely unprofessional. Do not recommend even to my worst enemy.

Went in for new Metzeler tires (ME888 rear, ME880 front) on my Honda VTX1300C 2006. They did a great job on the tires and advised me to replace my rear rotor and brakes (I should have paid more attention to this much earlier - live and learn). I walked over and enjoyed a chocolate chip waffle next door at the Waffle House while James replaced my tires. The rotor came in a couple of days later so I returned and enjoyed an egg sandwich while I waited for the repair. KCs and Rays customer service is grade A (great communication, they asked before they did the work, reminded me about safety because new tires are slick for the first ~100 miles), the prices on the used vehicles in the showroom looked very competitive (some pretty bikes in there!), and the work is speaking for itself: so far no problems. Laid-back and friendly atmosphere, great customer service, reliable repairwork, and a good place for lunch nearby - Independent Motorsports takes the pain out repairing your motorcycle. Highly recommend.

Just picked up a 2012 Harley VRod Muscle from Justin Adams on Thursday (3/30/2017) and couldnt be happier! Justin was a great salesman and DIDNT put any pressure on me just to "make a sale". Not to mention he was very informative and helpful with my trade in. And Pam Rocco was a breeze to do the financing with and very knowledgeable about the entire process. Im super stoked for this riding season with my new bike thanks to the help of Independent! I look forward to coming back to have my bike maintained with KC in service, Im sure the shop runs as smooth as the sales department and it will be a painless experience there as well! I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a new bike or just need your bike serviced. I can tell you first hand they care about their customers and your "toys" like they are their own! Ride safe! And Happy 2017 riding season!

Great experience with the staff at Independent. I had a small issue that I didnt notice until I started riding. I stopped in and discussed the issue with them and they asked me to bring the bike in for them to see. Their techs confirmed what I was saying and they took care of it completely, didnt just patch the issue. I was very impressed as I had signed the AS-IS papers and they could have just left me hanging. Glad to work with people who value their reputation and do what is right. I did purchase the extended warranty, but this was a wear issue, not a covered issue. This is the second bike my family has purchased from them. I usually dont recommend people, but after my experience I sent 2 people, one selling his bike and another purchasing one. Both were very happy how well and fair they were treated. Thanks to everyone at Independent !

Excellence in business! I bought my Yamaha V-Star 1300 from Independent Motorsports. The bike is in excellent condition as described on their website. There was an issue on my e-check which delayed the process two weeks, but they remained patient and courteous until that problem was resolved. During this unfortunate time of delay, I had to chance to communicate with Ray So, the owner of the company and Pamela Rocco, on sales and finance. At the end I met Brad who delivered the bike from Columbus to Cincinnati. He made courtesy calls ahead of time and spent an extra time with me to introduce the features on the bike with his knowledge as he also does technical service at the company. Bottom line is, you are going to deal with honest and professional people here. Kudos to Independent Motorsports!

I bought a bike from a friend of mine and it needed serviced. So I asked any and everyone I knew that had a bike where to go get it serviced and they all told me Independent Motorsports at 3930 South High Street. So I brought it in to Independent Motorsports for servicing after they serviced it I decided to trade it in on a newer bike. When I came and to make my final deposit on the new bike I was offered a job and I have been there ever since! That was approximately four and a half years ago. It is funny how things work out I am glad to be an employee there and I look for it to you stopping in and visiting us!

Independent Motorsports was a customer of mine (pallet racking) before I became one of theirs. My ATV needed some repairs and these guys were up to the task. Hard to find more knowledgeable staff, very professional and down-to-earth. They tuned me up and even recommended against the more costly repairs after asking how long I wanted to keep this one. Highly recommend this shop for any ATV & bike service and/or sales, since the people make the difference in this industry.
