I recently decided to never go back to Remke Biggs Pharmacy ever again. I was going to this same pharmacy for 2 years, Staff WAS mostly friendly throughout my experiences there. However there is a female pharmacist there, believe her name is Lori... She always appeared to me to be under the influence on some kind of medication, her eyes were always very squinty and pupils dilated, whatever kind of drugs this woman on is causing her performance to be very poor! As far as the rest of the staff, they all were familiar with me and were always very friendly, timely, and welcoming! Until one day I went to pick up my prescription, and Lori was the pharmacist on duty, started to very loudly accuse me of all kinds of crazy things that made no sense and were not true. Other customers around could definitely hear everything she was saying, and I believe it was a huge violation of my personal privacy! Very shocked, offended and upset I ended up leaving. The next time that I went there, of course she was there again, she again looked like she was on some kind of pills or other drug, as soon as I went to the counter she came charging up to me and was making me feel very uncomfortable! She had it out for me, not just saying this, I mean she REALLY HAD IT OUT FOR ME!! I guess she contacted my doctor and somehow persuaded him to lower my anxiety meds and that was it for me! I believe that this pharmacist should be further evaluated for the fact that she violated my personal health information, ALSO SOMEHOW made it to where my insurance company all the sudden stopped covering my medication and made me pay out of pocket, she had looked through my prescription history and had called CVS which is the other pharmacy I was using at the time if needed. She had called and told them false information about me. So when I finally got to stop going to Biggs (HUGE RELIEF!) I went to my normal CVS Pharmacy and they processed my prescription and had me wait, called my name to the counter, Went to cash out and then all the sudden the male pharmacist at CVS said that he refused to fill my prescription and had marked all over my paper script saying that I fill at multiple pharmacies and that it’s too soon to fill when it was actually past due to be filled. Since Lori a few weeks prior threatened me by saying that she was going to call every pharmacy I around here, it only made sense that she had actually taken the time to go out of her way and slander my name to my doctor and other pharmacies. There is no other way that would have had happened! This is a tragic situation, and I don’t like to write bad reviews but this woman was abusing her position, and had a personal grudge against me and carried out actions that a pharmacist has no business EVER doing. Every other pharmacy Ive gone to just does there job which is: PROCESS MY PRESCRIPTION, FILL MY PRESCRIPTION and that be that. The actions that this woman took were outrageous and I can’t believe that she still has a job there. I hope that Remke Biggs can become a great pharmacy like it used to be by reconsidering their pharmacy staff, in my opinion, she should no longer be practicing pharmaceutical’s and I’m too nice to call and report her, so hopefully this review is seen by the right authorities and her position there can be investigated. I don’t want UNESSECARY and COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS BEHAVIOUR to affect anyone else, and if you have read this, then please beware encountering this female pharmacist and save yourself trouble and a headache. COMPLETELY UNPROFFESSIONAL!!!! VERY POOR!!!!

I like the layout of this store and their staff truly make the experience the best. The checkers are quite engaging and always have a pleasantry to exchange. Their customer service desk is well managed. Watch their ads or grab one when you walk in the door as they often have great specials. One of my favorites is when theyre running baby back ribs as a BOGO. These go great on the grill with a hand-made rub, all of which are available for purchase at Remke. The parking is a delight compared to the nearby Kroger. It is also much more quickly "in-and-out" if you are in a hurry and dont want to pay convenience store prices. They maintain a nice selection of fresh and organic produce. Keep an eye out for their seafood specials, as they pop up every week or so. Near the end of summer you can get a really good deal on refreshing bottled drinks such as Power Aid (at amazingly discounted prices). They have frozen 1/3rd pound hamburger patties that I like for the grill. Making a quick and affordable at-home picnic is less than a 15 minute shopping experience at Remke. You literally can get every single item you need including a new grill and propane or charcoal depending on your preferences! I like to buy the frozen fries and onion rings and toss them into the air fryer (yummy! and more healthy?) to go along with pickle spears, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese slices, (sesame seed) buns, sliced (red/white/yellow) onions and viola! Lunch for a hungry crew. And, if you want a cold refreshing beverage for the grill master? They have a great selection of imports and domestics that are sure to make your grilling experience a bit more relaxing.

Ordered a cake Friday at the bakery using the frames offered in their book and provided a photo. Nobody mentioned the icing printer was broken, they did not have the frame I requested, and even when I called to check the order Monday morning they never said there was any issue. I arrived to find a garish hideous golden brown yellow cake that might have been acceptable in the 70s with an actual paper inedible photo on the cake. They said the icing printer was broken and there was nothing they could do but discount the cake. The worker left to answer the phone and began to wait on other deli customers before we resolved anything and while we were trying to figure out options actually took an order for a little girls birthday with a photo and never told them the icing printer was broken! They had only 2 other cakes and both had birthday balloons on them. I left and took my business to Kroger.

Its okay, but they got rid of double coupons and thats what made them awesome. They got good deals here and there. Also nobody really shops here so you dont have to deal with mass amounts of people around you.

Remkes prices tend to be slightly higher per bill than Kroger, but this store is always clean, people are friendly, and you can get in and out pretty quickly.

Remke has the hometown feel. Unlike Krogers it does not take an hour to walk from one side to the next. It has what you need and excellent specials.
