Kroger chain stores are my favorite grocery stores to shop at. The fact that this kroger is only a mile from the new house that we bought was a deciding factor in buying the house. Unfortunantly whoever is in charge of quality control or just how the groceries are handeled in general is terrible at their job. In the 9 months since living here every single container of milk I have broght home has smelt a bit off to begin with and has gone sour before its expiration date. Produce is mediocre at best on the shelf and goes bad within 2-5 days at home in the fridge (I normally can keep produce for weeks in the fridge). I have brought home PANTRY MOTHS!!! TWICE!!!! From two different products. I run a bakery from my home and have had to spend over $300 so far on air tight containers to put all of my grains and powders in to avoid contamination of the rest of my pantry, and the headach of trying to eradicate these pests is beyond beliefe. I have NEVER had these types of problems with food from any other store, nor with the Kroger on roswell rd in Marietta where we used to live. The food is not being stored and handeled properly, the friges need to be colder, the produce needs to be disgarded and refreshed more often, and something needs to be done about their product management and quality checking as a whole. I have found an open pack of bacon on managers special before!! You throw that away! Not put it on sale, thats ridiculous!

Ive been going there for years because its five minutes from my house. They recently had a remodel done. The employees are awesome, always. My only complaint is their produce department. I cant count the number of times they have not had prices clearly posted. You have to read all near by prices and hope that one of them is what you are looking for, but usually, I have to just bring it with me to check out in order to find out how much it costs. Even then I almost always discover that its too expensive (i.e. Leeks). And many times, they have disgusting stuff laid out. Like a couple of weeks ago, they had so many flies ALL over their already expensive tomatoes, because they were starting to rot- I mean mold, juices, the whole nine yards. It was nasty. But Ill see over ripe avocados dried up shriveled garlic bulbs, brown lettuce (in the bags, not the heads) and other various poor produce. I seriously would think to myself " how in the hell could someone put this out here on display? " I get my produce from other places when I can. But the rest of the store is great!

Have to change my review. Dont shop here. Stay away. Had the worst experience of my life with a "customer service" rep. Had them call the manager on duty Michael Millwood he scoffed at my issue and when asked if he could help he said" well by the time I go over there to see whats going on youll be helped next" he had no interest in helping out in the situation. Rather customers at Kroger are a bother or hindrance. When asked for the store managers number he breathed out heavily and said let me look for it scrolling through his phone. Goodbye Kroger. Hello Publix!! Never ever would the " manager" treated some one that way.

On 6-18-17, we went into the Kroger looking to exchange our Primo Water Jug. As we went to the register to make the exchange, the girl behind the register gave us a bad look and a rude smile stating the machine to exchange it was broken. All we needed to do what exchange our old bottle for a new one and get the half price. She continued to act like she had no idea how to do her job, asked 3 more associates, and informed us 10 min later we couldnt do the exchange. This was our first time trying to exchange our bottle and the experience was awful as were the employed that had no idea how to do there job.

Generally a good place to stop in and grab a few things, but now they dont seem to have anything but self checkout after 9:30 or so. When I left there tonight there was a line 10 people deep without anyone helping but the one young lady at self checkout. Told Ive of the young men I saw on my way out to let him know that she needed help and he said "shes got it". Next time if I need something for the kids in the morning Ill make the further drive to another store thats still open.

Great place to shop. Usually not very busy and lines move fast. The products are pretty easy to locate, except for the produce section; I have a hard time finding specific fruit or vegetables some times. Staff is very nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable and there is always something on sale. My favorite thing about this store is that it is located so close to my house and there is also a Kroger gas station in the parking lot so I can save on gas too.

The 1 star is for the Produce dept. The guy that works in that dept is a jerk. The produce is horrible. I have to really dig to find vegees that arent limp or rubbery. If hes not sure how vegees are to be kept, GOOGLE IT. Get rid of him and you would probably see sales go up. If hes stomping around the produce dept I avoid the area.

managers and employees is snobby their personality I guess the supposed to be nice but they come out very snobby one particular old man hes the manager very disrespectful. But on other hand stories clean. But I just cant stop in the store when people look down on you and how very nasty personalities I dont matter how clean is.

I love Kroger is my favorite store the only thing I dont like is checking out my own groceries is always said to have a lot of them and in the evenings I have to they dont have any register open. I know that covers any location is usually a above standard I put them before Walmart and other competitor grocery stores

Management has continuously worked to improve this location and has succeeded. This store is clean, good busy and has fresh ingredients. I never have to wait in line here. The employees here are the perfect kind of helpful. I cant say enough good, especially with the Fuel Rewards program.

Its your average grocery store, has a good selection, good prices, no salad bar, the deli and bakery are both kind of small compared to the other local stores. Its usually busy here, the self check out lanes are usually the fastest way to get rung up and get going.

Would rate higher but was there at about 9:30 pm. They had only one cashier and a long line. Went thru self check and the person watching it was not paying attention to the registers. Every time a register had an issue you had to ask for help.

Bad Produce. Bad Meat. I am a loyal Kroger shopper and just recently moved close to this location... unfortunately, Im now shopping at Publix due to consistently bad produce and terribly weird tasting meat, specifically ground beef and turkey
