There is a difference between customer service and pushy salespeople and Lucky Shoes pushes the envelope. No such thing as "just looking" in this store as they follow behind playing 20 questions. Never had so much pressure to buy a pair of tennis shoes before. I felt the salespeople took it personal when I walked out empty handed, but I didnt care since I knew Id never be back. Aside from the obvious reason, I dont know why people buy from this store, the merchandise is marked up very high. The only reason for my 2 star rating is the locations curb appeal.

We love Lucky Shoes. Betty is fantastic! Weve been shopping with her at Luckys since I was a kid. Now I bring my kids. Whenever we visit Ohio (we live out of state), Luckys is a must stop. And when we cant get back, Betty does a fabulous job based on the kids previous sizes of estimating the sizes well need and ships them to us. We dont go anywhere else for shoes.

Lucky Shoes has been the store of choice for my extended family for four generations now. My uncle who now lives in Charlotte waits to buy shoes until he comes to northeast Ohio to visit. Particularly for the kids in my family, the salesmen at Lucky do a great job of fitting their feet appropriately with comfortable shoes. Lucky will always be the place to go for us!

The shoes are made in America. They are very well made and mostly in real leather. And because of that, they are pretty expensive. Mostly over $120. Some are very tailored and stylish. Many are more utilitarian support styles.
