I was in the store last weekend to purchase an item that was advertised in their sale flyer that started THAT day only to be told "were out of it already but we can give you a rain check" ! The clerk was VERY rude but did issue me a rain check for the item. Today, a week later I received a call saying that the product was now available, where it was located in the store, and that I could come in to pick it up. I went from the Emergency Room to pick it up on my way home only to find out that#1 the product wasnt where the recorded message said, #2 the cashier and store manager knew NOTHING about it, #3 they DIDNT have the merchandise after all ! At first the store staff acted like I wasnt telling the truth but luckily I had the recorded voicemail which I played for them twice so they COULDNT deny what I was saying. They did finally apologize for the error and issued me a new rain check. I dont have much faith that I will get the merchandise.

The store is nice, free popcorn, and they have a good selection and usually decent prices. We are regular customers because its convenient, however literally every time we go, we leave with the same thought...that place must just be miserable to work at! Why? Because it is SO rare to find a happy or friendly employee! From the cashiers up front, people working the aisles, customer service desk to the loading dock and managers, they all seem miserable. They are rude, seem bothered if you talk to them (or check out), or ask for help. Heck even if you just say hi. We are not hard customers, were very friendly and appreciative, but everyone there seems to hate it there. Earl in the gun department is friendly and one cashier whose name I dont remember.

This place is just great! They have everything a hardworking, excitement loving, camouflage wearing, barbecue eating, popcorn smelling person needs to feel happy. You have to check this place out. I love it. I know this sounds sexist, but I like to call it "The Man Store". Its equally as much for women as it is for men, but I just like the sound of it.

Waited 20 minutes to get s piece of cable cut, picked up the tool and cut it myself and then got bitched at by the cashier. I wont forget to mention thst sfter waiting in line for 10 minutes the csshier decided tp pick up the phone and talk for another ten minutes. I will never shop at this Rural King again...ever!!!

Places little messy the shelves had a lot of empty spaces. They could have possibly been switching over for the fall season. Employees were helpful and friendly.
