I used to come to this store every Saturday to shop and bring a bunch of unused bags, donated by stores, for them to use (I was told the bags they have are donated by people). I would do anything for animals, and I mean anything, which is why I did most of my thrift store shopping at the Humane Society; until today. I had my husband stop in there to pick up a photo album I saw because I had to be in work. Anyway, he got a couple of other items while he was there, one being a truck window screen. Now, I know it is a no return policy, however, he literally walked out the front door and opened it up and it stunk to high heaven. He immediately went back in and addressed the same cashier who in turn brought over the manager who basically said, and Im paraphrasing, too bad. She was extremely rude, unpleasant and a downright b***h. I was on the cell phone with my husband, so I know he is not exaggerating. She outright lied about it being brand new. Because the workers are supposedly volunteers and the monies supposedly go to the animals (and it wasnt a lot of money) I’m not losing sleep over it. It is the attitude of the manager that I want noted. She was an extremely thin blond woman who should take courses in customer service. People like that should not be in a business that deals with people. I regret to say that because of this woman I will no longer shop at that store. When youre in a customer service field, attitude toward the customer can go a long way. This certainly did! Even if I was only spending $1.00 a week (which believe me wasnt the case), that will be $1.00 a week not helping the animals. They need to re-think their staff. This is no place for ugly rudeness.

I love this store because it helps animals. I love vintage stuff because I collect, repurpose, and sell it. I regretfully give this store 1 star because the girls working the counter were definitely unpleasant. When I walked up the first one was b!t(h!n because she thinks the stuff the in store/ on the counter is just a bunch of junk and "where do the guys find all this stuff" (obviously she knows nothing about vintage, or upcycling, which is OK honest mistake) .Although, as a vintage collector that made me feel awkward, and truthfully as a customer in general I dont want to hear about the clercs problems/oppinions on the merchandise. The second girl rang me up. I was surprised at how much I spent and had asked isnt everything in the store 50% off. She was extremely rude explaining how much everything was then made a crack that I saw the half off sign so I must of just started grabbing stuff. I politely told her no I only look for certain items, and I go to these type of stores 3 times or so a week. In conclusion i will not be returning to this particular thrift store. Off the record, check out my google+ page, I do infact sell vintage items.

I went here yesterday and the staff is definitely NOT rude. I used to volunteer in Brevard County with a rescue and people need to understand that when its a nonprofit for animals, you do what you can with the space that you have. I felt this store, considering that its small, still has a good amount of selection and organization. And the prices are great especially compared to other thrift stores in the immediate area. I will definitely be going back and shopping at this thrift store. And its for a great cause. Glad to see Ocala has a thrift store to help animals!!!!!!

VERY rude staff. I arrived at the store around 4:40 and online it says they close at 6 so I was good with my timing. Well, upon shopping around for a bit, the staff started walking around telling everyone theyre closing and that we need to check out (its now a few minutes till 5). I had an arm full of jeans that I couldnt even try on because they were so in a rush to close and rudely get everyone out. I hope these jeans fit because I cant return any of it. Overall, EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful staff who talk to their customers like crap.

We enjoyed the service we got from the kind people behind the register. They were very helpful explaining some options for us to spay or neuter are animals. Their thrift store has some really good prices and some great deals. If you dont mind taking the time to dig through some eclectic collections you might find just what youre looking for.
