Unfortunately, throughout the eighties, nineties, and even in some cases post 2000 stores had been creating more and more liberal refund/exchange policies. As the profit margins have marched down, due to the drumbeat of Wal-Mart and Internet merchants, as well as the ever more restrictive policies forced upon the merchants by software vendors and other music and text publishers, stores have seen the abuse of folks who buy things and either break them through misuse or wreck the packaging, making the items unsalable, as somewhere they can recoup some of the lost profits. Look, the stores do NOT want to make you unhappy, but someone who works "upstairs" in an office made a rule, and in these days of high unemployment, well, the shop associate or manager is going to toe the company line. So please understand that the store does not want to annoy you. They would give you your money or another selection in a second if they were allowed to.

If youre a kid, this place is nirvana. If youre an adult, not so much. Toys R Us does have a huge selection of toys and games and has many items that you wouldnt find at regular discount stores (e.g., Target, Walmart, etc.); however, their prices are generally higher than discount stores, though you can find some good deals occasionally, especially during Christmas season. This particular store is an older smaller one, so it might not have quite the selection a new store has, but the few times Ive been there, the staff has always been helpful.

Had to get a last second birthday gift for a 3 year old. First employee didnt know where the item I was after was located and after a 10 minute tour of every isle the second employee got me to the right location(thanks I could have searched the store on my own). Despite seeing many employees they only had 2 registers open and long lines at both. Will go to another store next time.

Absolutely massive store that has tons of everything. I always do my "stocking stuffer" shopping her for Christmas. For my sons birthday, we got him a new bike here. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff went out of their way so the bike was assembled and ready to ride when we picked it up.

The prices on the toys listed on the display didnt match the retail price and we had to go back and find another one within our budget. We did this 3 times and the price didnt match. Billing staff was getting annoyed at us and didnt behave professionally. I am not going there next time..

The lady at the front desk coughed in my face she did not have the manners do cover her mouth. It take them a while to serve us. They were more worried talk to each other than serve the 6 customers in line. It took a while to realize that there were people waiting in line

The kiddos toys broke within 1 week. The lovely lady at the customer service desk helped us out. No questions asked. Was so nice that it was such an easy process. I should add.. we DID have a gift receipt.

Collection of toys is great, as expected. But the prices are too high ... and there was no sale or clearance shelf, so not that useful to us. If you have enough money than it is a good place for shopping.
