As our salesperson requested a review mentioning his name, here it is: This dealership...they have good prices. And that’s about all the positives I have for them. Our salesperson(Charles) was a typical salesperson. Talks big, but often has no clue what he’s talking about. For example: he claimed that a new Genesis would get up to $80k with the right equipment...I haven’t seen an Equus that high, let alone a Genesis. Not exactly something youd expect from someone who works so closely with Hyundais all day. I also stated to one of the managers that even though there was only 15 minutes left in the day, they could still swap my snow wheels and tires in under five, so I failed to see the problem. If I can swap the two rears on my Z with a jack and an impact *and* torque them in two minutes and I do it as a hobby, then your techs who do this for a living certainly should be able to do four wheels and tires in under five minutes with a lift. If they can’t, then you need new techs. Additionally, there was our finance manager (Jessica I believe). Her smile was very obviously fake, she lied to us about the value of the car to try to sell GAP, and she couldnt even do her job right. She submitted the paperwork to our lender and sat there waiting for them to call her, rather than calling them as she implied to us she was doing. So at 1 minute til closing, I called the lender, got them on the phone, and got her the confirmation number she needed. All while she just sat in her office wasting our time. Regarding the car itself, its fine for a cheap car. But Marhofer claimed to have done a front wheel alignment on it...and whoever did it must have been on a mental vacation because not a month after purchasing it, I had a *real* shop check it out and (surprise) the alignment on all four corners was off. After having this shop align it, it drove better and I am sure my tires are happier for it. Everyone here kept reminding us that they do a lot of volume. Thats great, so you at least admit that you treat your customers like they dont matter because they *really* dont matter to you. Theyre just another number. There is far more to this story than just this, but I feel this gives the reader an adequate idea of our experience. Overall, I feel most of these people deserve each other. That said, I obviously would never return to this dealership.

We have leased two Sonatas and an Elantra from Ron Marhofer Hyundai of Cuyahoga Falls. Each time we have dealt with Chris Pursley. The professionalism shown by Chris has been above and beyond what I have experienced in the past at most car dealerships. Chris goes well beyond what one would expect from a "car salesman". Chris is not a salesman - he becomes a partner with you in your search of the perfect car for you needs at the time. He actually cares about what you want more than just adding another sale to the board. When we go into Marhofer, Chris remembers us by name and it usually is more than a year between trips back to him. That speaks volumes to me about how well he connects with his clients. Our experience with Marhofer has been great. We have used them for service and the service team does a wonderful job. We drop the car off and they provide a loaner when it is a big repair or warranty work. If it is just routine maintenance it is done in a very timely manner. Might have to be there for an hour but that is the exception - not the rule. We just leased a 2015 Sonata Hybrid from Chris. When we turned in our 2012 Sonata we forgot something in the car. We called and asked Chris to see if he could get the item for us. He called us back in about 20 minutes to let us know he had the item at his desk. The same day we called to see if the car our daughter had turned in was still there as she wanted the seat covers that she had put on to protect the seats. Chris told me that he thought the car was already gone. About 45 minutes later he called me to tell me that he had found the car and he had taken off the seat covers and they too were at his desk. Outstanding service!! I highly recommend Marhofer Hyundai of Cuyahoga Falls to any and all who wanted to be treated with respect and get a great car and deal at the same time. Joyce Miles

Purchased an Equinox from them in 2012. We agreed on a final "all-in" price and proceeded to sign documents. After signing the first dozen or so pages we got to the paper that actually quoted the "all-in" price. It was about $450 higher than we discussed. I immediately called the sales persons attention to this. There was a big speech from the finance guy about how this is a fee they have to charge, blah, blah, blah. At the end of the day, its not the price we agreed to. We got up to leave but the manager came over and told us hed make sure theyd honor the deal, even though there were going to lose money. A lot of time wasted. Fast forward 4 years, my windshield wiper linkage broke. I took the vehicle to two separate repair shops who both said the same thing - its the linkage NOT the motor. Neither of them had the part, nor could they get the part for a couple of days. So I decided to take it to the dealership since they have the part. I specifically told them that I had two other repair shops tell me the exact same thing and that I did not want the windshield wiper motor replaced, just the linkage. I just got a call from the service technician saying the motor needs replaced and he can do it for $550. I told the guy that I was told the exact opposite thing from two other shops. He went into some rambling about how you have to take everything apart to correctly diagnose the issue... The other repair shops DID take it apart. These guys say theyre different from other car dealerships, but proof is in the results. Theyre sneaky and when confronted they wont back down without a fight.

The only way to buy a car. Just purchased our second car from Marhofer. We purchase a car a few years ago from them and the experience was so great that when we need to replace my daughter’s car we decided try them again. We live about an hour and half from the Cuyahoga Falls location. We reviewed the used car inventory on Marhofer Cuyahoga Falls web site to see what they had in our price range and with mileage at or below what we wanted. The web site is well done and includes access to CarFax reports. We selected three cars that we were interested in and went to the dealership. We were met at the door by Andy Karlson. Andy is a very personable and professional in his approach. We explained what we were looking for and asked to see the three cars we had researched. He offered to bring the cars to us but we opted to go out on the lot. We selected one for a test drive and he went with us and answered questions as we drove. We decided to buy the car and Andy completed the paper work for the purchase and took it to the finance manager. While we waited for the finance manager to complete the paper work Andy had the car cleaned, washed, gas top off and brought it to the front door. We were with the finance manager just long enough to sign the paper work. No pressure to buy warranties or other add-ons. The whole process took about one and a half hours. Andy has followed up with phone calls to be sure that we were happy with the purchase. It is well worth the time and trouble to drive there. Andy and the staff are top notch and definitely a 5 star operation.
