Ron Marhofer Nissan was my service center of choice as it is the closest Nissan Dealership to my home. My rationale was that the dealership would have the best expertise to diagnose and correct any issues with my Nissan vehicle. I brought my car in with the problem of stalling at idle engine speeds with advisement from Nissan Motor Company that recalls were in effect for the CAM position sensor and the Crankshaft position sensor. I brought literature with me to the dealer pointing out these parts as the culprits in my car problems. The technicians completely disregarded my assessment and did not check the parts that I informed them were determined faulty by the Nissan Motor Company. Instead, they replaced other parts on the vehicle, and claimed that they would stand by their 12 month 12,000 mile guarantee on any work done in their shop. The repairs cost $700 and did not fix the problem. I returned the car to the service center twice again for them to remedy the situation (once by tow as the car would no longer start). Two individuals at this location made promises over the phone and in person that the car would be fixed if they were at fault, including the floor manager. One employee made claims that "We are easy to deal with here at Ron Marhofer Nissan." and that "We will pay for the tow and the additional repairs if we find that they are our fault." In fact, they refuse to admit any fault with the vehicle even under the following circumstances: -The vehicle displays exactly the same symptoms as the day I brought it in for service -The technicians did not initially (before erroneous repairs) check the parts that I specifically asked them to check for problems. -The parts that the technicians did not initially (before erroneous repairs) check for problems were identified as as problem by Nissan Motor Company -The parts that the technicians did not check for problems are now causing codes that need to be replaced and Ron Marhofer Nissan will not pay for them. If you are looking to speak to a manager about these problems, there is a number listed on the invoice if you are "Not completely satisfied." The number is a direct dial to Ron Marhofer himself. Unfortunately, Mr. Marhofer offers no help to a dedicated customer: He would only reiterate the same exact words over and over and blame the customer for the botched repair. I am a lifetime Nissan owner. I have never owned any other brand of vehicle. After this shoddy treatment, I will never consider purchasing a Nissan again. I am in the market for a new car, and would never consider giving Ron Marhofer my business. Buyer beware! In order for this to be a fair assessment of the service gotten at Ron Marhofer Nissan, a 20 foot sign should be inscribed over the door. I dont understand why / how this establishment can pride itself on service, know - how, and warranties when none of the above are offered.

If you buy from Ron Marhofer Nissan, by all means, ask for Matt Jasinski!!! In June of 2014, I found that my 10 year old Cavalier was beginning to nickel and dime me as well as showing body rust through despite my very best efforts to keep it clean. When it came time to choose a new car, my choices were a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Versa. I ended up choosing a Versa as it was easier for my mother to get in and out of compared to the Fiesta. And based on the positive experience of a family member with the Ron Marhofer dealerships, I decided Ron Marhofer Nissan was the place to go for my Versa. When I got there, I was introduced to Matt Jasinski as my sales consultant. He was very professional throughout the entire sales process from the time I told him what I wanted until I took delivery, He asked what I had in mind as far as options, etc but at no time did he ever try to push me into something I did not want or need. When we signed the papers for the trim line and color I wanted, he kept me informed through the entire sales process. Selling price is very fair as it was sold under a no-haggle agreement. The sticker price was indeed highly discounted so that my delivery price with tax, and titling charges was LESS than the MSRP! There was an issue where the chosen car I wanted in the color I wanted was not in the transferring dealers inventory. It should be noted that in all dealerships today, unless you place a factory order, your car will be procured from another dealer in a dealer to dealer trade if the selling dealer does not have the exact configuration you want. This is standard procedure.. I told Mr Jasinski that if there was going to be a problem with the color and trim line I wanted, I told him to go ahead and substitute a second color choice. But Mr Jasinski went the extra mile and procured me the exact car I wanted in my first color choice! He went the extra DOZEN MILES to ensure my complete satisfaction! That, to me, speaks VOLUMES about his sales ethics and the quality of staff at Ron Marhofer Nissan. I have to conclude my saying that the Ron Marhofer network of dealerships is truly a top flight group from which to purchase a vehicle. There is NO pressure to buy nor do they try to upsell. The sales staff does not work on commission. All in all, I was highly pleased with the dealership and would not hesitate to recommend them as well as my sales consultant, Matt Jasinski, to anybody looking to buy a new Nissan.

Recently, my wife and I were looking to buy a car. We were comparison shopping for 12 Versa hatchbacks. I sent out information request emails to every Nissan dealer in NE Ohio (16 of them total). Dave Seymour, at Marhofer, was one of the first to get back to me. I asked all of the dealers I contacted for their lowest out-the-door price. Dave took the time to inquire about my county of residence and inquire about what rebates I would qualify for, before giving me a quote. Every other dealer just sent me a vague number, guessed at the taxes, and assumed I would qualify for all rebates (Even military rebates, and I am not a vet). All of the other dealers lied to me to try to get me to come look at their cars. Having said that, Daves "out-the-door" price at Marhofer Nissan was still lower than any other dealers price. The car was still out of our price range, but my wife and I, on our own time, looked up the prices of other cars they had, and found a Nissan-Certified 2011 Sentra that we loved. I inquired about pricing of the Sentra (price seemed low), and Dave let me know that it had been accidentally dropped too much (they meant to drop the price by $500, and when updating the website, actually dropped it by $1500). Dave said that, even though it was a mistake, they would honor the internet price. We drove down to Akron for a test drive, and fell in love with the car. Dave, and all of the other associates were nicer than any car dealer we had ever dealt with previously. They closed at 6pm, but Dave stayed until 6:30 for us to test-drive it, and then stayed until 8pm after the test drive as we wrapped up all of the paperwork. Dave, and their finance manager Rora, did not try to sell us any add ons. We put down a sizable down payment, so they didnt even try to get us to buy Gap insurance, and they didnt push us to buy any extra coverages. They were both incredibly nice, and were not pushy at all. They made it clear that they wanted us to find the best car for our money, and they were not going to be pushy about it. No one at the dealership works on commission, so they are not rewarded for making you pay more. They are rewarded for having happy customers. We arrived and drove off in our new car in less than 1.5 hours. Great experience, I recommend them to all.
