Im so excited to have this little store in Tremont! Previously, our only walkable grocery options had been the Professor Market, nearby gas stations, & the Tuesday farmers market. This place is a much better option that all three, at least if youre looking for something a little bit nicer or slightly off the beaten path. You wont find Kraft mac & cheese here or a two-liter of Pepsi, but you WILL find specialty items you can otherwise only find at places like the West Side Market, Heinens, the Market at the Fig, or The Grocery in Ohio City. Thank goodness for a Tremont-based option! So what CAN you buy here? Dante Paste Sauce. Popes drink mixes. Old City Sodas. Inca Tea. Ohio City Pasta. Lake Erie Creamery Pearls. Rising Star Coffee. On the Rise baguettes & loaves. Gourmet candies. Individual chocolates. Fresh veggies & herbs grown right in the backyard! (And more! This is just what I can remember.) Oh, & its not just edible stuff. Youll also find an array of Dr. Bronners soaps & shampoos. Cleaning products. Organic pet food. Lawn & garden supplies, including watering cans, gardening tools, mulch, & seeds. Youll also find a very friendly owner, Kevin, who seems to love the area & love chatting with the people who stop in to see him. Oh, & youll ALSO find an adorable cat named Grace, who is regrettably not for sale. I hope Tremont General Store flourishes. I like Kevin & his offerings & his clean, accommodating, quirky space enough that Ill keep going back & doing my part to keep him in business!

Great rotating local variety in gardening, pet supplies, teas, coffees, DIY project supplies, produce, etc. A true general store. Still establishing an outdoor section of plants and landscaping supplies, cant wait to see that in 2017!
