Long story Short...........Bought a Fridge from their local outlet store yesterday, they had a big sale, we (wife and I) looked it over well (Dings / Issues Noted on Paperwork) and took the plunge. The nice associate explained we had 30 days to return for full refund if unhappy, very well. Picked it up today, brought it home and noticed a dent on the lower door (NOT Noted on Paperwork), THAT dent wasnt there the day prior when we purchased. Promptly called the same store, explained issue to the clerk who said shed have her manager call back, waited about 2 hours w/o call and had wife call back since they closed in an hour and I wanted to get it back before they closed. Manager tells the wife it was an "As-Is" purchase so no adjustments, so I say fine, well return it. Get it back to the store, drop the wife at the front to go in and take care of the paperwork and haul the fridge around to the back dock entrance to drop it off. The warehouse guy helps me get it out of the van (and says dont worry about how we handle it since it will likely be scrapped since we are returning it), we / he gets it back into the stockroom only to meet an "associate" who quickly explains that since they had an "As-Is" return policy on appliances sold off of the floor. After I (my wife had explained the same prior) stated we were told in no uncertain terms by the clerk the day prior (who wasnt there today) we had 30 days to return it she simply said "he was wrong"; translated too bad, tough luck, youre screwed. Looking it over, the paper work seems to support our side of the argument but they (The two women) simply were not going to hear any of it. Needless to say, this will be the last time I or anyone in my immediate family will be stepping foot into any Sears facility, unfortunately their inevitable demise (I truly hope Im wrong, except for this GREAT place) will be hastened by idiotic decisions such as those today made by the two (both said they had noticed the dent prior to pick-up, I asked why it wasnt noted on paperwork, no reply lol) who are WAY out of their league in management positions. 100% chance you will either be lied to or scammed by shopping at this Sears Outlet store. Dont waste your money! Im serious.. Everyone there thinks they are the manager there, aka Ryan and Jim. Both of those employees are extremely shady to deal with, and no, they cant make any final decisions. And no, the real manager is never around. I called Sears Holdings Corporate to verify what the salesman Jim had told me. Turns out he lied about pretty much everything. Products in the store (except for clearance) come with a 1 year limited warranty. Jim tried to say Samsung products dont come with a warranty, complete BS. Then, if thats not bad enough, Jim also said that if the washer and dryer failed within 2 days after purchase I would be out of luck! I only had 1 day, "if his manager would allow it". (I thought he ws the manager, haha see!)This is just not true. Corporate stated there is a 30 day return/exchange policy in place. In the end Corporate was kind enough to help me out. I went to a local Sears store and purchased my washer and dryer both brand new. For about the SAME price as the scratch/dent ones. Oh, and thats not all! After corporate offered me a coupon for the salesman being extremely shady, the Outlet store refused to accept it! LOL It gets even better.. The Outlet store said there was NO negotiation on price. Which again was a lie. Do not try to save money by shopping there, youll end up getting scammed. As far as Im concerned, these guys are pretty much con-artists, even then they still fail at that. Its one thing to be a salesperson and try to up your commission, another to commit fraud. You will get ripped off, there is no question about it. Just look at the review by Mark P below. Same story!

Went in to the store and had a shadow the whole time but still purchased a deep freezer and a Samsung refrigerator. Was told we were being financed which was a huge lie. When we received the refrigerator it had more damage then when we seen it at the store and was told we could bring the door back and get a new one. Then when we called the company to see about paying it off early is when we were informed that it was in fact a lease and had to pay on it at least 5 months and afterwards there would be a $ 500.00 buy out fee attached. The 5 payments plus the 500 we put down totaled over $1200.00 already. Then to add on the buyout almost doubles the amount of the fridge. The store manager Torry, doesnt know the difference between a lease and financing. He has tried to stick to a false story every time we actually get through to him. I will never go to them on Colerain again. I should have went back to the one in northern Kentucky, at least when I bought my stove from them they had courtesy and common sense.

Bought a washer and dryer from this store and they were great! No pressure to get the extended warranties or protection plans. Time to checkout was about 30 minutes for these two items. Note that they said it would be $60 for delivery and then $40 for the installation supplies (hoses/ducts/etc.). They rang these things up separately so that when the delivery men arrived, they didnt believe me when I said I had paid for these items. So, they installed them, but not without a lot of attitude and frustration, and left the dryer vent unconnected to the outside so that we are unable to use it without purchasing more parts. We have to complete the installation that we paid for ourselves.... Keep your reciepts very handy when they arrive.

Shopping at the Sears outlet was a quick and efficient. We found our item online, called the store and went in the store and I was back home within 1/2 hour with my purchase scheduled for delivery.
