This incident happened about 6 months ago, and I was only reminded it because of this upcoming "sweetest day" My wife works up the road, and I had used Morning Sun Florist a few times prior, I decided to send flowers to her, no reason in particular. I went in and talked with the same lady I had dealt with the previous times. She usually had pretty good ideas. My wife likes minimalistic, modern, and clean flower arrangements. The lady threw out a few ideas like spiraling a long green leaf up the inside of the tall cylinder vas. I put in my two cents and told her my wife likes white calli lilies. The delivery day comes and my wife ends up calling into work sick. So I call the florist up and tell them my wife wont be there and they reassure me that it was fine, and the flowers would be fine for whenever I would want them delivered. My wife calls in sick the next day too, again, the florist reassures me everything is fine. The next day my wife went in to work and I called the florist and gave them the "go ahead" My wife calls me thanking me for the flowers, as anyone would do even if they didnt like the flowers. When she got home with them my heart sunk. While the flowers were calli lillies, they were yellow the color of friendship (you think a florist would know better). Three of the five flowers were wilted and bent, and there was no leaf wrapped up the inside of the vas. Had I paid 25 bucks for this I would have let it slide, but as I paid over $120 for this hideous arrangement I called up the florist and asked to speak to the manager. She wasnt there so I left a message. I ended up calling 3 more times before I got a hold of her, and it just so happened to be the lady I dealt with. I explained how I felt, and wasnt wanting my money, but maybe a partial credit on my next purchase. To my surprise, she became very rude with me, telling me the flowers were bad looking because the order was delayed because my wife is sick after they kept reassuring me the flowers would look great, then she told me my wife shouldnt be so particular and she should be a little more appreciative. I explained my wife was very thankful for the idea but both her and I agreed it was not what I paid for. I told the manager that we would not be using them anymore, and she said, "Well survive" and hung up. This whole experience has really shown me that Customer service is dead. Morning Sun florist has lost hundreds, maybe thousands of my dollars, but oh well, theyll survive. Stay Away! once they have your money they quit caring about you.

Every time I shop Morning Sun I have a great experience. The staff is very helpful, and their flower arangments are very unique. I also understand that no business is capable of making everyone happy. Im one of the many happy ones who understands this. To those out there that need more time figuring this out, good luck to you. Im going there today to pick up my wife a fine present.

I needed a quick gift for Mother-in-law. Called Morning Sun florist and they were able to deliver same day and she LOVED the flowers. Ordering was faster and easier then if I did it on the internet. Also, I never received such a long glowing thank you for FDA flowers, but with this florist, I got a 10 min thank you message on my answering machine. She LOVED them.

The best! A local garden center recommended Morning Sun. I told Morning Sun what I had in mind and they created above and beyond all my expectations, the arrangement was unique and beautiful. I have told all my friends to check this florist out (and their wonderful gift shop)!
