Its amazing how often a completely non-artistic person like myself needs some sort of arts & crafts item(s). From having some paintings and prints framed and making our own Christmas wreaths to putting together decorative items for our sons wedding and the many times we had to find one thing or another for one of our kids school projects; Ive found myself in this store more times than I can count. Theyve nearly always had just what we needed for the job and the staff has always been knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Michaels is very crowded, disorganized, and has a thin selection in many areas (floral, woodworking), but a big selection in others (farming, paper crafts). The store is too small for what it contains, and in addition to the crowded environment, the staff appear disgruntled and are not usually helpful.
