Just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago. Its in the strip mall that is anchored by Petco, but on the Outback Steakhouse side. Very nondescript locale, which is sorta why Im writing this review. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the owner. I was curious, because its a very small shop and I was immediately surprised by the difference from other game stores. Game stores are usually feel almost industrial. Here, the environment is very colorful and vibrant, sure its a retail space but its just different. The owner explained that they have lots of kids activities and showed me some of the crafts they do there. She also explained that it was fine to just come try out many of their numerous demo games. They dont have the space to host, say, a Magic or Pokemon tournament, but theres plenty of space (two large tables, a couple of other smaller ones) to do crafts, try out a family game, or just look at the rules to one of the demos. The thing that impressed me most was how family-friendly the owner seemed to be. I didnt get the sense that she was just (wo)manning the counter at the game store as in a lot of cases. No offense, most guys are really knowledgeable but theyre not often interested in kids games, while this woman seemed knowledgeable and interested in kids games. In full disclosure, I didnt buy anything while I was there. I only had about 20 minutes before I had to pick up my son from a lesson. I havent bought anything there yet, and was only reminded of the store by my son just yesterday after the children got allowance. Well definitely be going back.

Terrific FLGS (friendly local game store) with a great selection and Beth (the owner) is a true game fan and can make helpful recommendations for any age or interest. Plus there are fun game nights with lots of variety. Recommended!
